No major issues or concerns to report. The shower facilities weren't great, with the water temperature dropping to luke warm after the first couple of minutes. I was on a hiking holiday and would have really liked to have a hot shower at the end of the day. The "shelter lodge" is more of a hotel-style set-up with no self-catering facilities. There is taxidermia and antlers everywhere - full-on hunting lodge vibes... It's really not my scene, as I find it unethical and inhumane.

The location of the lodge is second to none - in the middle of the woodlands, right by the mountain top observation point! The room had a very comfortable double bed and lots of storage space. Everything was very clean. There was a very good choice of snacks and drinks at the bar, including espresso-based hot drinks. Breakfast was included in the price and they had a good choice of continental style breakfast meals. There was access to cooked evening meals, but these had to be purchased separately.

The rooms are pretty cold. You can feel the draft around the windows. The two other rooms with many guys on the same floor were.super noisy. The walls are thin. It wasn't nice to wake up to a cold room. All the radiators were cold in the morning. Breakfast didn't come with a coffee. This was weird.

The whole atmosphere was amazing. It's a very old building and it makes you travel back in time. The idea of the guys cooking food in front of the building is just lovely.

The breakfast was well cooked but there was too much salt added. An unhealthy amount really, although I know Hungarians tend to eat their food more salty than many people like. The option for an evening meal was great but we had to order by 5 pm-too early really. The food was good though.

Location and ambiance. Hostel was pleasant and close to the Kek Tura with great views nearby.

Could not close the bathroom door within the room. Bathroom was a bit dirty but OK all in all.

Wi-Fi was terrible on our floor, and we had a power outage for a couple of hours. Bedsheet and shower were super worn, they looked filthy. TV only had a couple of channels, and even those were unwatchable. And the room door was almost stuck closed, very hard to open.

It was a cozy little room in a gorgeous old building, with a lively restaurant area on the ground floor. All meals we had there were delicious. The beds were super soft, and the room was tidy. It’s location is perfect for someone wishing to enjoy nature, relax or hike in a nice area. Perfect for a short getaway from everyday life.

There was no bed linen and towels in the room at the beginning. Overall the room was quite dirty and wasn't cleaned up for 3 days and also rubbish wasn't taken away. The Staff don't speak English and one day we are told that we cannot order a tea for breakfest (extra paid), the other a tea is available for free, but coffee is extra paid. Everyone says (actually hardly says, rather explains by gestures) what is possible for us.

We liked very much the view behind the hotel on Danube, but that was all.
