The shower in our room wasn’t working properly. Both shower and tap were running at the same time, the battery on the wall was very wobbly making us think we could pull it off when turning on the water. Mugs in the room didn’t look clean and the balcony floor needs cleaning.

Loved the view of the Parliament and the Danube. Breakfast offers a variety of choices. Suite was spacious and clean. Master bed was really comfortable.

The water in the bath didn't go down very smoothly

The room was very comfortable, excellent bed. Good location, friendly staff. Breakfast was great. We were very satisfied and will definitely stay again in our next visit.

It was perfectly located! We had the best view of the parliament building and the river and chain bridge from our room! The concierge (Choba) was fantastic and so helpful. He really made our stay even more special so we really appreciate him.

The bathroom could have been bigger and the showerbath needs some refurbishment. The plug was very slow to drain, the shower screen leaked, water flow was medium.

All staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was very well presented from the moment you walked through the door with modern decor and large spacious interiors. The lift was quick and the room (comfort room) was larger than expected with plenty of storage and a very large most comfortable bed. The castle view from the bedroom window was wonderful. The aircon worked well. The breakfast room was large, the breakfasts were buffet style with a huge variety of options, very tasty and the staff were quick and efficient. Dinner options were good and tasty too. The location was perfect for sight-seeing.

The only thing I disliked was the Art Work - the smoking rings. Most inappropriate now that all hotels are smoke free. ( Thank goodness).

Upgraded to a Castle View room for an extra 15 euros per night. It was well worth it. A lovely spacious room with en suite and fabulous views.

Be aware that the benefits of a river view room have some drawbacks - the road and tram noise right outside during the night mean that with an open window you'll need earplugs. I find it extraordinary that the hotel offers a complimentary bottle of water on one's first night but then expects you to buy more from the bar thereafter. Over £600 cost of stay, offering unlimited breakfast but niggly with water - why? Large coach loads of arriving and departing guests block the reception area.

An excellent location on the banks of the Danube overlooking the grandiose Parliament on the opposite bank. Well served by trams (outside the door) and close walking distance to a Metro station. Safe area to walk in and several good local restaurants. Hotel offered good breakfast and a reasonably quiet bar. On Buda side, beneath the Castle area.

The location on the Buda side is perfect. Tram out the front or a short walk to the metro. All the staff were pleasant in particular the bar. Highly recommend paying for a Riverview room.

The room equipment is getting older and some parts are quite worn out. But still in acceptable conditions. Also air condition was a bit noisy at night even though turned off.
