Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SlovakiaIt was a hot summer and there were so many mosquitos everywhere, also in the flat (which is of course not the fault of the owner), just a reminder to bring the anti-mosquito plug in electric difuser for future guests.
Great location (about 15 mins walking from the Heroes Square (and a metro station), a really quiet flat, nicely furnished and modern, clean and easily accessible with a self check-in (the instructions we very clear). What I loved most about the flat was the FREE PARKING in a beautiful big garage, that was automatically reserved with the accomodation (the appartment has it's own parking spot in the underground garage). This is a huge plus nowadays in Budapest, since the parking policy changed in May 2024 and it is quite difficult to park in the streets. Also the host was very nice and helpful. I can truly recommend and will come back.

SloveniaWe were there for 6 days, so we wish we got more than just one dishwashing pill, and I wish there was a broom, as i dropped something and had no way of sweeping it up after myself.
The apartment was very nice and super comfy! Everything necessary to stay there and the beds are amazing! Theres even an iron and washing machine, we were very happy! And the parking was in a garage, which is always very welcome.

The place has everything a traveler might need, incl. a comfy mattress, AC, dishwasher, parking, etc. The check-in instructions were absolutely clear, and communication with the host was very pleasant. There is an elevator from the garage to the apartment. There was no contact with the owner, but the instructions for taking over the apartment were great. If we come back to Budapest again, we will definitely take this accommodation again.

Romania1.The shower curtain is very long and its not really hygienic because I imagine that it's not washed after each customer...its a easy fix in my opinion ! 2. The walls in the bathroom can be seen to have been flooded, it gives you the feeling that the location is not taken care of and its a easy fix aswell ! 3. I've got a ticket because I left my car in front of the building for 2 min just to bring back the keys after checkout, first you have to take out the car and then go back and put the keys in the lockbox. Another lockbox on the street would fix this (or maybe just by a ticket for 2 min ) Anyways I gave a 9* review but honestly it's more like an 8* , hope you take it as a feedback and improve for your best.
Nice area, big plus the free underground parking, bed confortabil and all in all clean and smelling nice. It's a good choice if they improve some things that can put you of or give you headache.
