I did NOT like having to pay cash for the room. I was not planning on this (didn’t read the entry closely enough), so had to drive to find an ATM, delaying our departure. ATM exchange rate made our stay more costly.

Our host was warm and friendly. Having the option of a home-cooked meal after walking all day at Plitvice was lovely.

The foam mattress has lost a degree of firmness, with permanent body dents. It was not bad enough to keep us awake but it will soon be.

Mosquitoes! Never in my life had I seen so many mosquitoes in a single room. They must've been hiding behind the bed. One of the worst nights of my life. We were severely bitten. My fiancée had more than 50 bites (yes, we counted).

We are delighted with the warm welcome of the housekeeper at Pox House 2 .She is the most positive and smiling person we have ever met. Incredibly clean , beautiful , very quiet and peaceful place , close to Plitvice lakes . No need to leave the house , the food offered on site is superb.

The house is in a quite zone and nature is all around you, and the host Roza will make you feel even better then your home. Motorbike travelers don't worry about the parking, there's a plenty space and the location is secured. Will be back for sure!

Great location and Rosa is a wonderful hostess. She is an awesome cook and our dinner was very tasty. Portions were very large. Location was close to the park and easy to find.

Perfectly situated in a quiet road near to entrance 2 of Plitvice National Park. The owner was extremely helpful and obliging. We ate there twice in the evening lovely food and very reasonable prices. She even offered us a larger room as we had dogs which was perfect 🤩

We stayed at House Pox for 2 nights. The location is just perfect. Few min from the entrance to the Lakes. The whole place is super clean and quite. The host Rosa is just a super nice person. We got a big room that is actually like a 2 rooms with a table, fridge, chairs, armchairs and a lot of other furniture. We ate twice dinner there that was just perfect. Definitely will stay there again if in the region.

There could be a refrigerator in every room, and not the smallest one.

The hosts were very flexible, they changed the smaller room to a bigger one for the same price, and they also brought a refrigerator at our request. Kind, helpful family. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by forest. The trout dinner was very plentiful and delicious. Free Wifi.

We stayed for 1 night with 3 rooms. We opted to have dinner at 23 Euros and the dinner was excellent and well worth the money. We also took the breakfast for 10 Euros and that was more than enough food. The location of the place is very close to Plitvice Park so everything works out great. the host was a very hard working woman who's only goal was to satisfy her guests while her husband napped out back - crazy:) Would definitely recommend stay there again.

House Pox 2 is a great place to stay. I got upgraded to a balcony room when I arrived for no extra cost. The room is was very comfortable, bed comfortable, TV and Wifi provided, small fridge as well. Very clean and the host is lovely, very kind and helpful, she even gave me a lift to entrance 2 the day I left to catch the bus as it was raining. It is a 3 km walk to entry 2 and there a few paths that get you off the main road. If you go into the next village and follow the signs there is path that goes to the park entry meaning you are only the main road for 1.5 kms. I didn't have any meals there so can't comment on this. If you are a vegan/vegetarian then you will have to either find something in the next village at the bistro there or the restaurant in the park at entry 2, or come prepared. There is a small supermarket in the next village which sells some fruit and veg, the market at the entry 2 only sells snack items. I would highly recommend this accomodation.
