Shower stall was filthy. We kept our flipflops on while showering for fear of catching something. The bathroom door handle was falling off which made the door difficult to close. The bathroom door itself is pretty much transparent which offers zero privacy when sitting on the toilet or showering - ridiculous for an apartment sold for two couples or groups. We had to keep the light off in a windowless room as a workaround. Zero tea and coffee provisions offered. Threadbare towels. Parking was listed as one of the amenities but we were charged €10 for each day which was requested in cash upfront. Very questionable. The apartment is described as "two bedroom with patio" as if it's an immediately accessible feature of the individual apartment. It is not: in fact it is separate, removed and shared. And yes, you will probably hit your head - if not on the roof beams then on the shelf under the window or the sharp hooks protruding from the low beams.

We stayed at the two bedroom apartment placed at the attic of the villa. The property was very clean, the internet connection was fine, the host was very helpful. There is an option to use the parking (small fee applies) which is extremely important if you are coming to Dubrovnik by car. The location is perfect, some 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from the old town. Nice view at the old town Dubrovnik from one of the bedrooms. Recommended for a stay of the family with kids or two couples.

The host does not respond to mails. The host attitude is also not very welcoming - pay first and than I give you the key. A bit of welcome would really be nice and could impact the overall experience. The villa is old and not cleansed as expected. Dirty fridge with frozen foil, spiders webs, weird smell. Airco did not work well in our room.

The only thing that is good about the villa is the view, everything else is the reminiscence of the past, old and covered with dust.

There was no secure luggage storage. But you could leave bags in a common lounge type room. The rooms were darker than the photos suggested. We were in the room in photos 52-56, and 60-66. The rooms were in the roof so beams were very low, and head room limited. Lots of dated cupboards and wardrobe was a rail.

Lovely view of the sea and the island of Lokrum. Easy access to city centre - no stairs. There are a few steps from accom to road though. Staff/owners were lovely. Checkin and out was easy. Easy to come and go as you wish.

Pillows had holes and were very thin so very uncomfortable. We arrived late from airport because our flight was delayed and we felt as if we were a nuisance. Parking is extremely difficult to find and very tight. We tried to keep the host updated with our plans considering the delay but the communication was not reciprocated. You are essentially in a shared house. Guests leaving and arriving at all times of the day/night meant sound travels very easily within the villa.

Room number 4 (standard studio with sea view) has VERY low roof beams. Half of the room is unusable unless you are bent over. Not good for tall people at all and especially for couples because if the person on one side of the bed were to get up in the middle of the night they would certainly hit their head. My 6ft partner hit his head pretty hard within the first 5 minutes of being in the room. The amenities provided in the kitchen were lacking and poor quality. I had to clean the kettle out because it was full of calcium particles. We didn’t really use the kitchen but anyone over 5ft would have to hunch over to even use the it because the roof is so low. Also the window for this room had a great view but it was weirdly high up so you couldn’t really sit at the chairs and relax with the view as it looked like in the pictures.

Great view from the window and shared balcony. It was a 15 minute walk to old town down a relatively gentle hill. The Villa felt safe. Good water pressure.

Room felt quite tired, window to view whilst lovely, was only small and without AC we found overnights slightly uncomfortably warm. I wouldn’t want to stay here in the height of summer. No full length mirror. Beds are fairly uncomfortable and only one pillow provided. Beams yes are low, so if you’re tall, do not book this room. We bumped our heads a few times but not a huge issue. Couldn’t get the safe to work to lock away valuables. Contact with the host on day of arrival to confirm check in was met unresponsive.. thankfully host was there when we arrived and we utilised the helpful directions of a previous reviewer to find the apartment and parking!

Proximity to Dubrovnik is only a 10-15 minute walk which was great!!. Yes it is a slight uphill walk back to the property from Dubrovnik, which I’ve seen many people review negatively, but it is a gradual hill and if you find this difficult then that is a reflection of your poor fitness levels!! Available parking was great. Room was clean, serviced with new towels during our stay. Little window view over the island was very nice.

Very hard to find upon arrival. Walls are thin and very noisy from adjoining apartments. Rooms do not have a balcony. Blow drier did not work. Had to pay for parking. Host was not friendly and did not explain much at all.

Somewhat far walk from town but worth it for price… and there were some small bugs but we did leave the window open anyway so to be expected I guess. Also no beach towels and kitchen stove was a bit confusing but no major problems

Great property, super cute villa! Overlook from our window to the sea was gorgeous as well. Really spacious and provided shampoo/body wash. Enjoyed our stay tremendously!!

Steps going down into property were very dangerous. The drain from the shower came up through the floor drain! This was fixed when we alerted staff. No toaster - owner gave us hers which was dirty. Towels old and hard.

Rooms dark and dingy. Bathroom basic old and dark Downhill to centre a long way and longer back.

No breakfast taken. I didn’t like anything about it All fittings etc old and cheap. Price expensive Find somewhere else!

They did not know about us coming (although we we were sending messages), we had to wait. The owner was angry and he expressed clearly how unhappy he is we only booked one night. He did not share with us info that we can use the shared space. It was extremely unpleasant situation to check in. There was also no body for check out. We felt like enemies. Shower drain was clogged, after obvious long years of usage the bathroom cabined still had a protection foil! The overall quality was cheap, especially for this money. Disappointing place. Highly NOT recommended. Croatians should learn how to be pleasant and welcoming and clean!

Its not clean enough and the infrastructure of the appartment is problematic because is on rooftop so you have to bend over lota of times and carefull on your head. The toilet a bit broken and totally not so clean.

It was not marked at all. Our plane landed late and we could not figure out which door or even which level was where we needed to be. We had trouble with our phones (coming from USA) and could not reach anyone until much later.

It was a great location, clean, beautiful with a great balcony view that we could share with other guests.
