Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaThe room wasn’t clean properly. I found an underwear behind the towel dryer, which was, as a matter of fact, also dirty at the back. I let the receptionist know about the inconvenience and she send quickly someone to clean it up. I had to wait 15 minutes until they finished it. when I checked the bathroom again the underwear was gone but the dirt at the back of the towel dryer was still there.
Well located. Kind and helpful staff. The best was the buffet at breakfast and dinner. Lots of different types of foods and beverages.

Spacious, clean and cool room. Separate space for adults and kids. Comfy beds. Nice balcony. Exceptionally tasty dinner with huge variety of food. Fantastic location: beach is 2 mins walking. Great pool for kids. Atmospheric hotel.

GermanyEverything is old, beds make noise, air conditioning does not work well enough to cool the room and has mold inside! We had around +30C at the evening in the rooms with AC on, we had 1 year old child with us who was unable to sleep well in such a hot room. All the closets are going apart, money safes on both rooms did not work, so hat do carry money around all the time. Rooms were somewhat clean, but everything is old like from 1990. It does not look anything close to the advertised stuff in pictures. We had to go eat to hotel next to it, eating was not even in the same building. This is all that we find out only after moving in to the hotel! Dining room is very loud, food is 4 out of 10 at best. Drinks are not like other hotels with real juice the use some kind of poweder to mix it up, each day around the same food, some suff was dry and with less taste. Worst thing was about the air conditoning in dining rooms, it was raining water on the food and us! Terrible when water from AC drops to your food and clothes. I would never come back to this place even for free! We were in Pula last year for 20% less price and we had 10 out of 10 Experience. This was the worst of them all!
Only good thing about this place was location, but i would choose different hotel or take Apartment and go to Restaurant every day and pay less.
