I thought about it but couldn’t find anything

1. Apartment was very spacious, had all the equipment (kitchen, bathroom…) 2. Staff was very reliable, everything was organized well, even got a lot of tips and insiders for Hvar; especially the housekeeper Marija was an Angel, she always checked on us, in case we needed anything, she even washed OUR towels; just a very kind woman who I think loves her job! 3. perfect location- 15-20 min walk to the old town, 5-10 min to the beach 4. a good price for even better service Thank you for making our trip very enjoyable, easy and fun!

Beautiful apartment with an amazing view! We stayed here for a week and it was perfect. Nice kitchen, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Bit far from the city center, especially on the way back you have to walk up hill. But, the view is great and you are really near to the beach (would recommend the beaches after the first one you see; beautiful little walk along the coast and more relaxed). Thanks again!

Great location, owner was so sweet and helpful! The apartment was quite large, with multiple balcony’s looking over beautiful scenic views. The kitchen/bathrooms are fully equipped with anything you would need! And the Villa provides you with luggage storage during the day, along with a gated parking lot.

The only minor negative (and we knew this was the case when we booked it) is the location. It sits on top of a hill, which means you either need to pay for a taxi each time you want to return from Hvar town/Pakleni Islands, or get your legs working (not ideal in 30-40 degrees). That said, the apartment is well placed to access Pokonji dol Beach.

The apartment was fab - spacious, fully equipped (hob, cooking essentials, kettle, tv), and clean. We also experienced very good and responsive communication from the hosts about check-in, they couldn't do enough for us! Pokonji dol Beach is only a short walk away but we would recommend walking that little bit further to Strand Mekićevica (slightly less people).

Nothing, can’t fault it!

Walking in, it looked exactly as on the pictures but having said this, it still seemed better in real life! The location of the property was excellent, what amazing views! Everything was clean and well organised, and if we did have any questions Maria was on hand! Maria was amazing and gave us such a nice welcome!

Host was there to greet me and give instructions on the area, location and any other issues I had. All round lovely stay. It is about 15-20 min walk to the main centre of town, and there are some hills. Bonus is that you are next to the beach.

There is a bit of uphill climb but it is not very bad and should not stop you from booking. The road are good!

Going from city centre to Marija's place was a 15 min uphill walk. You had other benefits for that (bigger place, better view, better location to the best beaches), yet carrying your luggage until there could be a bit exhausting.

Marija's place is amazing. You have the most beautiful view to Hvar, where we saw the sunset every night. It is a bit far away from the Old Town, yet you are closer to better beaches, which are only 5 min downhill.

I have a family of 4:- including a 1 year old baby, we went on a travel to Hvar for about 3 days - 2 nights, The day we arrived we were warmly welcomed by our lovely host Mary. Comparing to other apartment hotels we were never given a baby bed / cot but in Villa Fio we were able to access that facility and it was a great help. The rooms were clean. Mary has also given us a lot recommendations about near by beaches, best restaurants nearby and also some pizza delivery service Pamphlets to order from. She has also been helpful and recommending us to places which are kids friendly. The view from the balcony was very beautiful and calming allowing us a look of the sea and the sunset. Lastly A big Thank You to Mary for helping us having a great grill party!

Up a big hill, but most of Hvar is uphill so not a major issue. Kept us fit! Approx. 10 min uphill walk from Old Town

Close to some beautiful beaches. Excellent hosts who were extremely friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Comfortable beds and clean apartments.
