Lovely location with our room having sea views and balcony. Only stayed one night as we travelled south to Brac. No covered parking for our motorbike was probably the only negative, but it was secure so no problem. Very modern, clean, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Very helpful staff and great pool. Ideal for families as there were a few staying with small children. Our stay coincided with a music festival and Croatia Euro footie so the town had a good buzz to it. Would return if in the area

The bathroom vent fan was loud and you couldn’t shut it off as it was automatically on & off.

My wife and I had the perfect weekend getaway in Vrbnik. The hotel’s design is stunning, with lots of attention to detail and a poolside fantastic for lounging. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the warmth and kindness of the hotel staff made our stay even better. 10/10 experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Design Hotel Verbenicum. The property is beautiful, the view of old town is superb, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool was a nice bonus.

This hotel is incredible. The town is lovely - quiet and small and nowhere near as busy as Krk. The hotel itself is beautiful and just the right level of fancy. The staff were so helpful and kind and even upgraded our room for us at no charge. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Everything was just perfect.

The superb views, the cosy suite (we were upgraded from standard room), the friendly staff who served us a very nice breakfast early in the morning. The only downside was that we only stayed for one night, clearly a mistake from our part ;-) We will likely return someday to enjoy the pool. There is free parking behind the hotel.

The bed was a little hard for us. Would have preferred a large bedcover on the bed rather than 2 single bedcovers. Food and drink are a little pricey compared to the other restaurants of a similar calibre.

Plenty to see and do on the island. If you are looking for a place that isn't too touristy, where you can experience the rustic culture of this part of croatia and want to get away from the busyness of life, then this is the place for you. It is quiet, peaceful and has beautiful places to swim and snorkel a stone's throw from the hotel. The hotel has a lovely pool area with a bar and toilets and is perfectly located from the quirky rustic old town. Where you will find several restaurants, one is even voted the best on the island. Plenty of trails to hike and bike. Crees and Rab are definitely worth a visit. A superb holiday, we would definitely go back.

Mosquitoes. We weren't that thrilled by the town, relative to so many others we've experienced on this trip. Room wasn't wonderful, but quite acceptable. Not convinced about rapport qualité prix....

They were very kind and helpful when I made a fuss about our room being invaded by mosquitoes. Breakfast was nicely presented, though not everything was great. Fresh OJ would have been nice.
