We were incredibly grateful to have a unit with working AC during the summer holiday that we could come back to and wind down to relax, As it was very hot outside. The shower was also very nice and the location was excellent, walking distance to the Riva and to the ports. It was also quiet which made for a good nights sleep.

Traditional Croatian character furniture in a spotlessly clean apartment. Great care and first-hand interest from the owner who was happy to help. Traditional residential area of Split. Reminded us of Alfama in Lisbon. Easy walk to centre and ferry port.

Beautifully decorated apartment with a delightful ambience.A quiet retreat after a busy day ! Close to the fascinating old town and an easy walk to the port for ferry or private boats. Everything we needed and more!

Michelle is super nice. It was possible to use the apartment earlier and leave it later. We left the luggage after the check out - no problem for Michelle as well. The place is very comfortable.

Michelle the host gave clear directions in advance of our arrival for key access outside the gate. She let us check in early which was handy arriving with luggage on a ferry. The studio was well equipped and comfortable. It is on a quiet street 5 minutes from the main Split old town. Perfect place for our brief stay.

Be careful not to switch off the boiler by mistake! The switch looks like a light switch and is directly next to the bathroom light switch 😅

Nothing not to like.

The apartment is very cosy and we loved our stay. Michelle the host was very helpful in pointing out what to do. We even extended for 2 days. The location is excellent. Close to the ferry, bus station and the old town. The little terrace is also lovely, weather permitting.

Everything was great

What a great apartment in a very convenient location very close to the main part of split. Our host was amazing and met us quite late at the train station to make sure we were ok. Great facilities and lots of extra little touches to make our stay wonderful.

Everything. Great hotels Michelle couldn't do enough for us. Even helped along with her husband getting our luggage from nearby station to apartment. About a 10 min walk. Easy. Ground floor with courtyard to sit in. So easy to walk into town. Grocery shop nearby

It would help to have written instructions on how to work the washing machine

Emperor Suites was close proximity to the ports and a short walk to the Riva and Diocletians Palace. Although small, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the peaceful courtyard for coffee each morning. The bed was very comfortable!

Difficult to locate. Instructions not very clear. Taxis can't get close to the street.

Nothing. However, for future late arriving guests, it is located on a tiny side street opposite Hotel Luxe as shown on google map.

It is like staying at relatives home while they are away. It is small but cosy with all the basic needs of daily living (almost), so clever and attentive. Owners does not live nearby but are quick in responding. Location is great, close to old town yet situated in a quiet corner. Better still it is 200 m away to sea port, public transportation to airport, buses and trains.

We loved it all

So clean, comfortable, and beautiful furniture. Loved the red curtains and vintage dresser. We loved having wine and snacks on the patio. We were able to do laundry after our week of backpacking. Appreciated the bottle of wine left for us for our honeymoon!
