Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaPerfect location, comfortable bed, a decent value for the money. A perfect place for a short stay with a tram stop right in front of the building's entrance. P.s. I would like to appologize about my initial review. It was meant for a different place in Croatia I stayed afterwards at!

SerbiaHeating during the evening/night can get a bit weaker, so we were a bit cold. However, that wasn't the case every day, we experienced it only on the first night.
The hosts are very kind and welcoming. They even gave us a water heater when we asked for it. The location is great, there are multiple trams in front of the building that can get you downtown, and it's a short ride. Everything was very clean. All in all, a great choice for a short stay in Zagreb.

PolandWe had to park our car on the sidewalk, but on the other hand it was free. The elevator is tiny and it gives off a weird smell.
The apartment was quite spacious and though modestly furnished, it was very clean. We liked the booklets about Zagreb and what to do there. Super friendly and helpful host :)

The room was a decent size and had everything I needed for the stay. Although it was a little way out of town, the trams stop just outside the entrance and more than made up for that.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe only thing you can improve is to add shower gel and shampoo in toilet.
Everything was good! At night it started being cold and there was no remoter for AC, I contacted the owner and they manage to bring it to us. (even that they were already at home since there is no reception). In the front of building is tram station and in 15/20 minutes you are in city center for just like 0.50€

GeorgiaAs I understood, in the bathroom, the drainage system doesn't go down, as I'm used to see it usually in other places. Instead, the pipe goes to the side, through a wall. Therefore, whenever the water in the bathroom is used for anything, and water has to leave, a pump, located in the bathroom is activated automatically, and pumps the water away. When it activates, for a few seconds at a time, it's quite loud. Can be unpleasant, especially at night. So, the occasional noise is the only thing I didn't like. Though, I was more concerned with waking up neighbors at night, after using water, but, it works great and no issues with water however. Just something to consider.
The host was friendly. The location is convenient. The accommodation had a good heating, so it was warm in the winter. The fridge was great. Wifi worked fine. The meeting and key pick up was easy. Communication was timely. The room was spacious. There's also a very nice TV in the room. Shower worked great. Tram stop is right there which makes travel around the city very accessable. During the day, a lot of day light comes in, and makes the room feel lively. The windows are big, so you get a view of buildings in the distance and clear skies. And there's elevator. Overall, great place.

CanadaThere is no any kitchenette in the room. But it is OK. The restaurant is on the ground floor. The grocery stores are around.
The room was spacious and with private bathroom. High quality TV. The fridge in the room was available. WiFi worked good. No any interruptions. Checking in was OK, but I contacted with the host in advance to set up the arrival time. The tram stop is right in front of hotel. To get the Old town I used the trams ## 14, 17. To get the bus station - tram #5. Host was nice and professional

United KingdomNothing at all, it was perfect for a short stay in Zagreb. If you want to be in the centre then obviously look for somewhere there, but if you're prepared to have a more interesting experience then I'd recommend here, it's great value and a more "real" experience!
I arrived late on the Ryanair from Manchester, I communicated with Igor via WhatsApp and arranged to meet him there. The tramstop is 100 metres down the road (or right outside going into the centre!) so easy to get to, tram 5 direct from the main bus station. Igor was helpful and nothing was a problem, paid with card in Kuna. Room was lovely and warm, bed very comfortable, double glazing kept all sounds out. Everything needed for a short stay! The location is a few miles from the centre but trams run every few minutes and even all night, so you'll always get back!

HungaryThe room was renovated, comfortable, spacious and clean, we stayed one night. The city center can be reached in 15 minutes by tram, which stops in front of the house. A ticket from the tram conductor was 6 kuna. Igor, the owner, was very kind, helpful and friendly, he also provided free parking. There was also a small fridge, hairdryer, towels and fast wifi.
