We liked out stay a lot! The personnel is very welcoming and helpful. Its a nice hotel with a lot of things to do, great for kids as well. And it is not far for Makarska downtown. I wish we could stay there for longer...

I expected to have the hotel's beach narrow, but there are options nearby, with natural shade. So it didn’t bother us. In the shower, water was leaking onto the floor and repairs are needed, as I mentioned in the feedback form in the room.

The staff were kind and welcoming, really thoughtful for this. There were a wide variety of options for lunch and dinner, also included brunch until 13 pm which we didn’t try. The resort is very family-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor play areas for children. The location was perfect for us, because of the peacefulness. However it takes 15-20 min to reach the center by walking along the riviera pathway. The parking was closed by our building. Clean was done every day, room was quite comfortable, with amenities in good condition. The room didn’t have a balcony, as stated in our reservation, but this didn’t bother us because we had something to dry in front of the window, outside. Area is green, with a lot of beautiful trees, but also mosquitoes, make sure to take with you a spray in the evening.

The hotel is updated and you can feel it, the rooms are nice and spacious. Cleaning every day. Friendly hotel staff. Food is varied in the evening, tasty. Great pizza every day, for which my daughter was very grateful. Breakfasts are the same European every day, there is plenty to choose from. On the city beach in the shade of trees, you need to take a seat at 7 in the morning. Sunbeds cost 7 euros for one day. The water is clean, the color is incredible. People in moderation. The hotel is in a convenient location, we liked it.

Location is excellent, the sea is great, clean and clear. Food is varied, tasty. Breakfasts until 13:00. The staff is very friendly. All requests are very quickly fulfilled. For children a lot of different entertainment. We were very satisfied. I hope it was not our last time.

The room was not so big, but nicely equipped (superior 2+1).

Family-friendly resort. Good food, clean rooms, nice staff. The beach is very close to the hotel. The sea is warm and crystal clean. There are playrooms for kids - soft zone and play zone with Nintendos and PlayStations 5. The location is perfect - quite close to the city centre and really close to the beach. The receptionists, animators and waiters are friendly and client-oriented.

The beach was very busy which meant we used the hotel sun deck. This was lovely and shaded by pines - however the sun deck was also in use by many other beach goers who weren’t guests of the hotel which made it busy and difficult to find space. Drinks (coffee, water, juice) are available during breakfast and Brunch service however nothing - not even water is available during dinner service and bottles of water are about 4.50€ to buy, I discussed with Hotel and they accommodated us for remainder of trip with water during dinner (it was a heat wave) Whilst these items were annoying they would not prevent me from going again to the property as we really enjoyed ourselves.

The property was clean and the staff were friendly and really looked after us. We really enjoyed the food on offer for breakfast, brunch and dinner. It was tasty and broad. Rooms were comfortable and freshly decorated.

Sunny resort Makarska is a new hotel located right on the beach, and it was a fantastic choice for our family vacation. The staff, particularly Dora, Marko, and Patrick, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and stress-free, especially when it came to accommodating our kids. The reception staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The only downside to our experience was the somewhat unfriendly waitress in the Sunny bar, Mišo. He seemed a bit on edge and nervous, which made us slightly uncomfortable. However, this small negative aspect did not ruin our overall vacation experience at Sunny resort Makarska. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
