The church bells next door do chime the hours at night but not a big issue for us. Would not put us off going back. Top floor rooms are under the eaves so sloping ceiling reduces usable space if you are tall.

All was perfect. Wonderful boutique hotel that really tries hard to meet all your requirements located in a heart of charming town of Pucisce. Great restaurant and swimming pool. Unique staff! I spilled wine on my shirt during the dinner and it was immediately taken for washing and by the time I’ve finished dinner, it was washed and ironed. Ideal place if you are looking for idyllic and peaceful vacation. Highly recommended.

We had to leave!

Formed from a Venetian renaissance palace, the hotel is truly exceptional. Refurbished to a fabulous standard, we had a wonderful four night stay. The public areas are tasteful, the outside spaces are so pretty, with a charming pool area in mature gardens. There is even a small spa with jacuzzi and sauna, with massages available. We stayed just as the pretty village of Puteus was opening, the staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The reception team gave good advice and the team in the restaurant knew their wine and food pairing to make the whole thing just one big treat.

The Hotel is perfectly situated in the town centre and so just a short walk to local shops and eateries. The Hotel and grounds were so nice that we stayed there and relaxed, maybe a bit more than we should have. The staff were great and very nice to chat with. The bed in our room was very comfortable.

There was a loud party just in the town square which kept us awake on the Friday night. Wouldn’t have minded if it was over at 12 but didn’t wrap up till 2.00am. The bells rang loudly but not a big problem.

Location in the middle of the quaint town of Pucisca. ( don’t mention the church bells right beside us!) Room was fabulous with a little veranda which got sun all day. The grounds were also lovely and the pool area was perfect and never busy. The staff were very friendly.

We loved it. Only two comments. We would have liked to have had someone to help us with our luggage to the room, and we would have liked to have had somebody ask us if we would like to have a drink by the pool rather than having to go and ask a member of staff for a drink.

Beds were a bit hard/simple and should be replaced with something more comfortable. We had a slight smell in our bathroom that was fixed once pointed out. AC could have been set at a slightly lower temperature (we did not request this).

The only fault I can find is the restaurant is nice but did not live up to expectations. My husband had the sea bass, this was nice but had much better at the bar down the road, as a vegetarian, the only option on the menu was a cold poke bowl that consisted of warm rice, cucumber, apricot, grapes, tofu, apple dressed with balsamic vinegar a little weird and does not fit the image of the restaurant. Nice but over rated.

What a gem. Superb hotel, the staff were extremely friendly especially the lady that runs breakfast. The breakfast is out of this world, not your normal hotel offering, freshly cooked eggs, fantastic coffee and a wide variety of cold meats, cheeses, vegetables and pastries. One of the best nights sleep I've had the beds are super comfy! The pool. area is stunning and so clean, I would highly recommend this hotel.
