Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

NetherlandsRooms had foul smell coming from bathroom every time we entered and need to open the windows for smell to go. Beds and pillows were bit uncomfortable (thick pillows). No hot water kettle, complimentary tea or coffee in the room. Internet code given did not work.

AustraliaThe toilet was running water but wasn't too noisy. The air con wouldn't turn on, however, I'm sure that if I had asked the staff for help they would have sorted it out. Wasn't a big deal for me.

North MacedoniaBreakfast is the same every morning! In the time we stayed (7 days), there was not a single new content in the served options. None! I think it just takes a bit of imagination to introduce some variety in the breakfast options during the week to meet the needs of guests staying longer at the hotel as well. The cakes need to be improved - they were not very tasty and mostly dry. The internet was bad especially on weekend days when there were more guests. When we asked for an intervention, we were told that something would be done, and I don't think anything was done, except that on Monday the number of guests decreased, so the internet improved. For a 4-star hotel, I think this is unacceptable, because every tourist receives information and makes stay plans using Wi-Fi. The lack of quality Wi-Fi was a problem for us during our stay.
Тhe hotel is located in a great location, on the very edge of the old town, so with a few steps you are already there, and on the other hand, it is quiet and pleasant to stay. The employees are kind, a good level of cleanliness is maintained, the breakfast is fine, but I think that it should be more varied, which will be noticed by guests who stay for several days. On the other hand food was always replenished, no matter what time you come. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. In addition to the usual elements for any bathroom, there were two sinks, and a bidet. We received clean towels every day. The air conditioning was good, it's not noisy and it's placed in a good place so it doesn't disturb your sleep.

Hong KongI wouldn't say 'didn't like' but the rooms, although pleasant enough, are probably due for a make-over, sooner rather than later, before it becomes 'didn't like'.
Breakfast offered good selection and quality BUT the cook needs to be told not to make the pancakes on the same hotplate as the bacon. Location, in relation the the old town and waterfront, was excellent. We'd particularly like to mention the two young ladies on day shift at reception - they were both charming and helpful, as was the young lady on early morning duty, who smoothly saw us on our way.
