The room was small overlooking the front of the hotel. It was in need of a refresh / modernisation.

One minor comment about our room was that we didn't have much of a view as a large palm tree was right in front of it, but that helped add to the island vibe. One other thing to note is that to get to the main part of town for dinner it is a flat rate of 20 euros one way.

Out of our entire trip to Croatia, both my fiance and I agree that this resort was the highlight. It was right on the water with an amazing view of the sea and the most comfortable area to lie out in the sun. Our room was pretty large for having only booked the standard size, and we had a nice balcony as well. The included breakfast was also delicious. It was also in walking distance to the outdoor Hula Hula which is a must go.

Staff not well trained and battle to communicate in English. Not very helpful in general. Hotel had NO transport options to or from the city even though it is furthest away.

We were driving and the hotel parking area isn't the easiest to find, but was good when we did. The hotel is right on the waters edge with sea and pool swimming available. The waterside bar was excellent. A really lovely place to relax. Getting to town was a taxi ride, but not too long.

The only slight negative was the pool area which is very small with only a few loungers most in the shade. There are however plenty of loungers down the steps in the shore.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The food and drinks were great. I had a sea view room with a balcony which was stunning.

The level of the restaurant was not as the level of the hotel and we were not able to book a massage as it seems to be closed when we where there. But overall the experience there was even better than what we expected !!

Amazing, paradise to rest, slow down and enjoy ! I felt really soothed and relaxed in this atmosphere; we loved spending time on the private beach reading and drinking hotel cocktails, running along the water's edge in the mornings to Hvar and swimming in our little private beach. We have also been to the gym which were little but suffisant for a quick workout. The breakfast and the view are fantastics.

I booked an economy room and while small size was as expected it smelled damp and the bathroom shower was outdated with a dodgy door and the drain kept filling up. The tab system for food and drink doesn’t itimize price so it’s hard to keep track of spend and reconcile your bill at the end.

Love the location 15 min nice walk from old town. Views from the hotel are stunning and the reception level terrace is quiet and peaceful. The ‘beach’ area is great, very comfortable, lovely area to swim, lots of different seating areas for lounging or dining. Spa and gym is decent size. The restaurant and bar team are very friendly and attentive. Housekeeping was good.

The noise from the beach club in the next bay carried to the top floor - room 307. It was quieter lower down the hotel.

Very romantic and exclusive. Beautiful top floor room with amazing views. Staff super friendly. Swimming in the sea was fab. Great promenade walk to Hvar on the sea front only 20 mins.

The food and drinks are a little expensive, but you are staying in a really nice hotel so the prices reflect that. We ate mostly in the town so it didn't bother us! One night when we asked for extra toilet paper, the night duty staff tried to make us pay for it... which was a bit crazy. That was the only bad experience..

Location was a little bit outside the town, about a 15 minute walk but the walk itself is gorgeous. It was so pretty, so we happily walked in each night. The hotel is amazing, we got an upgraded room with a balcony and it was great, so spacious. We loved it. Room cleaned daily was great. The breakfast had great choices and the staff were lovely. There were sunbeds beside the sea so you could sunbath and swim - staff also on hand to bring food and drinks. We really enjoyed it. Also you can ask reception for sunbathing towels which was amazing as we had forgotten to bring our own, really nice touch. Reception were able to book us a taxi.

Not a lot to dislike. Being picky, the sea views were somewhat obscured by trees and (if you don't fancy the walk to town) the convoluted road route makes taxis expensive.

Wonderfully chilled hotel with beautiful sea views and great terrace areas with eating, drinking and lounging facilities. Quiet, with a delightful 20 minute promenade walk into Hvar, although signage is poor and there are quite a few steps.

The pulsing sound of the swimming pool pump at night was disturbing. It was a pity that this noise was allowed to disturb the otherwise tranquility of the hotel at night.

The location is on the sea-front just a 20 minute walk from Hvar Old Town. Close enough to be accessible to restaurants and bars and far enough to be quiet at night. The Podstine has a resort-like feel with a beautiful sunbed and bar/restarant area in front of the sea, which is crystal clear and wonderful for swimming. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Have in mind to arrange some transport on first day to hotel if you dont have any car. The 20 min walk from Hvar is nice and pleasent but not after whole day trip and with baggage. You can take taxi or boat taxi. Breakast could have some more vararity. Nice shower after sauna and pool is 2 min away from it which make it less confortable. Also not really hygenic bath mats, they shiudl changw it for sth more clean. Room we had a little bit too dark and small for 10 days stay. Check to have sea view one

Amazing staff that maked our trip even more enjoyable, they were all nice, helpful and professional. Excellent food in the restaurant, one of the best tbone steak we ever ate. Increible localization, not too far and not too close to Hvar. If you like to relax this is perfect. Good place to walk, run, swim. 20 min to Hvar with beatiful path next to sea. Nice sauna and pool with sea view. Flexible way of use. Next door diving center.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with happy and very cheerful front desk staff, and we felt so relaxed from the start. We upgraded our room to one with water views and were not disappointed. The restaurant staff were amazing and were always happy to ensure our stay was an exceptional experience ❤️ especially Tea We are definitely coming back

Absolutely stunning views. A beautiful hotel to stay for a few days and relax! It was so nice to have a private swimming area for the hotel only. It is about a 25 min walk to the town, lots of stairs and hills. We would stay here again!
