The hotel fully deserves its 5 stars. It's in a good position, right on the sea and from there it was easy to reach every other village on beautiful island of Krk. Everything was perfect: the whole staff were extremely kind and helpful; the room was large and comfortable and perfectly clean; the breakfast buffet had everything you can think of, with fresh and tasty food; the restaurant served a large variety of excellent dishes. My stay was too short and I haven't had the time to profit of all the services the hotel provided, like swimming pools, wellness centre, saunas and gym. Many thanks to all the staff!

Fabulous hotel, gorgeous view, perfect location, there is the harbour and in front of the hotel the beach. Very nice staff. Amazing food, 4 cours dinner for that prize is recommended, every meal time on the terrace with nice atmosphere. Generous sized rooms with lovely balcony. Wellness area is great, nice indoor and outdoor pool, lots of place to relax. Free parking.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but there were some disruptive guests—mostly couples where the women, who seemed to be influencers, would come to the "adults only" area on the top floor in the afternoons. They spent a lot of time taking pictures and videos and were quite loud, which made it hard to enjoy a peaceful chill time.

This has been my favorite hotel so far. I came here alone for a workcation, and I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed, clearly showing the attention to detail by the designer. The hotel staff ensured that my room was impeccably maintained every day. The food at the restaurant was also great, and I deeply appreciate their efforts in accommodating my dietary restrictions. Sometimes, due to work, I couldn't finish my dinner at the restaurant, and they even went out of their way to send the dessert to my room. Special thanks to Ivica, who maintained excellent communication with me through booking.com. She ensured everything was perfectly arranged, from transportation between the airport and hotel to my dietary needs. On the morning of my departure, the staff on duty even packed breakfast for me. A hotel's excellence is not just about its facilities or location, but most importantly, its team. The staff at Luxury Hotel Riva are guest-focused and maintain clear communication, reflecting a harmonious team led by a highly capable leader. The hotel's location is, needless to say, perfect, whether you're planning to swim by the sea or go hiking. The largest supermarket and gas station are just a 10-minute walk away. If you need to go to Krk, the direct bus is very convenient, with the bus stop located right next to the gas station. I'm not into nightlife, but as I passed by the bars, I couldn't help but notice the abundance of musical talent in Malinska. You're sure to enjoy the beauty of the nights here. Thank you to the hotel for giving me a perfect workcation and for making Malinska a part of my most cherished memories.

I lost my watch during the stay. I reported the loss to reception and asked on numerous times if it had been found/handed in. The answer was always ‘no’ - but, whilst that’s not a problem, I didn’t get much of a feeling that anything was done to help me locate it. Pity. Air conditioning in gym is not great.

Very good sized rooms with lovely balcony & view overlooking harbour. Loved the indoor & outdoor pool areas and the outdoor seating area for breakfast.

High Class comfortable stay at the charming harbour of Malinska. Well, I stayed at the pre-season before the tourists run, so it was quiet and relaxing. Even the sea was still to cold I enjoyed the fantastic outdoor pool behind the building. Rooms are big and comfortable and an amazing kitchen serves you very tasty and regional dishes. I'll be back for sure - but after-season!

I am truly demanding but this one is simply perfect. It is expensive but worth every penny. If anything - there is an old abandoned house next to the hotel, but is does not influence the overall experience.

One of the best top 5 hotels in Europe to my mind. This is a boutique hotel but exceeding your expectations in every way and moment. Once you step in the doorway, you are treated like royalty. The hotel looks brand new. Literally, like it was opened just yesterday. It is modern, clean and the staff treats you with the utmost respect. It has an indoor and outdoor pool (heated), gym, spa, great restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a fancy lobby bar with staff meeting your highest expectations. If you love wine you will find yourself in wine heaven. Worth 5 stars. You can feel like at top venues in Monaco, Dubai or Miami.

The Ability to use Wellnes was limited on check-out day. A better availability would increase loyalty. Kitchen quality not on par with Konobas in the Area thus hotel restaurant is too expensive

Expresso to pay at breakfast, inacceptable! There was a machine at the buffet, but didn‘t worse it, you can order one coffee that they collect at the bar which you have to pay for….. 2 adults - 3 coffee each a day 15 euro extra per day…. Sorry but no way! Otherwise everything was perfect, ask for Filipe, very nice waiter!

We had a room at the 4th floor, the water pressure was a bit low in the shower, but okay. The fix menu at the restaurant… for a 5* restaurant should have a la carte menu.

We only have minor points that we would like to be improved in this fantastic hotel: 1. The towels could be more soft 2. The coffe which is included in the breakfast is not good at all, but fortunately they bring good made espressos/cappuccinos/flat whites, .... from a real espresso machine, unfortunately they charge extra for that. 3. The ceiling height of the gym is a bit low, for tall people like me doing functional training this is a bit low 4. The hotel should consider to upgrade their charging infrastructure to 11KW or even 22KW, for free or with a small fee. We used 2KW for free and we are extremely thankful!

We loved the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of everything, the quality of the restaurant which was excellent (better than a lot of other places in Malinska and Krk overall. But the most impressive feature was the astonishing beauty of the interior architecture (contemporary, sleek, elegant, minimalistic, warm, ...) which gave us a luxury feel rarely felt before.
