As the host tells us - “no steps, no view”. We were 4 young(ish) guys. But wouldn’t fancy taking a pram or an old or out of shape person there.

Of course, the view. Wonderful. Beds comfy. All perfectly clean and v well looked after. V nice host. Location excellent for getting into town (10 min walk), beach (8 min walk) and local supermarket (3 mins). We will be back, I’m sure.

The most incredible views of the old city from both the master bedroom balcony and the main balcony. Every window looked out to the ocean. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and full of thoughtful touches from the host.

There are lots of steps but worth it when you got up there.

Great location outside of the old town but still close. Clean, spacious apartment, well appointed with everything you need. The large balcony with a view was fantastic.

There are many stairs to get up the top. For us it was ok but it may be a problem for those with knee problems etc.

The view is absolutely outstanding and the apartment has everything you could possibly need. The host was very kind and helpful. We were greeted with Croatian wine and fruit on arrival which was a nice touch.

For us it was just the number of stairs to get to the penthouse. We spent 10 days here, so at the end of our stay we were happy to see the back of them.., but we knew there would be a lot of stairs before booking the accommodation. The only other very minor point is the water pressure in the main bathroom; I would have like that to be a little more stronger.

The property is very well furnished, air conditioned and cared after. The landlord was very helpful and supportive and really did make our stay as pleasant as they could. The property comes with all the “white” appliances that you’d expect in a home from home get away, which makes it easier to manage when you have young families. It has plenty of room to come together as a family and to break away to have some alone time should you need that. It is located near the coast so wake up to the blue Adriatic Sea every morning with an amazing clear blue sky line.

The location above old town is prime. The owner and her cleaning crew tried everything to get us into the apartment 1 1/2 hours before check-in. The apartment is spacious, very clean and comfortable. There is a grocery store right around the corner. Thank you, Katja, for the fruit basket.

The place was beautiful and spacious. But it was a lot of stairs to get up to it, especially after climbing up a million other stairs coming from Old Town. But, if you are in shape, this place is great and has an amazing view.

Nothing really there are quite a few steps up to the property. However the property is fabulous with the best views.

The only thing we struggled with was the amount of steps up to the apartment but we knew there would be stairs to get the view we wanted! 😂 they kept us very fit haha! The old town is very expensive because of tourists, we found visiting restaurants just outside were cheaper and the experience was a lot nicer and quieter.

Our host was lovely and friendly I felt I could message her if I needed anything. The apartment was spotless, had everything you needed (dishwasher/washing machine) and the view was incredible. Was also very handy that we could use bolt and Uber so we used them to get from the town to our apartment as normal taxis are expensive. You can walk back to the apartment but there are a lot of steps.

Property was extremely spacious and luxurious. The wooden furnishings (e.g. chairs, bed frames, tables, hutches) were in amazing condition. They don’t make furniture like this anymore. The owner thinks of everything; there was laundry detergent, a first aid kit, umbrellas, etc.; pretty much everything you need. And the view of the old town from the outdoor patios is spectacular. Finally, it is only a 10 minute walk to the old town.

I liked everything but there are many steps to read here the top of the hill. very ok for us but anyone with an injury or reduced mobility should consider it.

lives up to its name - fantastic!!! amazing location!! spacious, clean, beautiful view of Adriatic and the old town, about 10 minutes walk from the old town, a small shop nearby to purchase basics (fresh bread, milk, muesli, yoghurt, coffee). walk down the steps and you are at banje beach. the owner provided a beautiful welcome basket of fresh fruit and had bottled water chilled for us in the fridge . we parked our rental car in the owners’ private garage (very important because parking is very hard to find in Dubrovnik). washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher. I have nothing but good things to say!!!!

Everything! I could not find fault with anything. Our host Karica was wonderful. The apartment was very clean with every amenity and all sorts of little extras provided. Capped off with the most wonderful views of Lokrum Island and Dubrovnik Old Town. Would we come again, yes, in a flash.
