The laid back atmosphere and communal social vibe, with board games and access to watch movies. The cooking facilities were great and saved me a lot of money on an island known to be quite expensive. The location was close to beautiful beaches and views, worth climbing the flights of stairs to reach the hostel. A supermarket is only a few minutes away also, open until late. Overall a great choice if you want to experience an affordable side of Hvar separate from the partying, although the latter is still possible.

Amazing view from the terrace, it feels like an oasis at the hostel, really relaxing with lots of space to chill. Really nice staff and volunteers. Would recommend to stay her to chill and have a nice time at hvar.

Kapa Hostel is spacious with many indoor and outdoor areas to connect with others or spend time alone. The view from the hostel is incredible and it feels secluded yet is a short walk from all the fun in the centre of the city. The owners of this hostel are super generous and laidback. :)

Kitchen was quite small and often cluttered.

Nice sociable wee place as a base to explore Hvar, with plenty of outdoor space to sit in the evenings. Hammocks, table tennis table etc are a nice addition

Can’t really think of something I did not like. There were not lots of places to relax inside, but this is not a problem as there are nice lots of hangout places outside.

The staff was amazing, wonderfull sunset view from the terrace, lots of space outside to relax, and very clean. The location is much closer to the centre than expected.

I loved this place with all my heart. First of all the view was absolutely amazing. The social areas were really great. The staff was nice and very friendly. The best hostel I’ve stayed in till today.

The room is a bit cramped. And the pillow of my bed had an odour from being damp previously.

Outdoor area has so many hammocks and seating overlooking part of the city. It's beautiful. And no matter how many guests are there you can always find a spot to yourself.

The hostel Kapa was a great experience. The WC was in the bedroom, which was very convenient and the staff cleaned it every morning. I met many people from all over the world, the atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. Highly recommended!!

The location was amazing! The hostel had a lovely view overlooking split. Was a lovely 15 min walk by the water to get into Hvar town, or 15 min walk the other way to beautiful beaches. I liked each room had their own bathroom which was cleaned daily. the kitchen had great facilities and everyone was soo friendly! I honestly didn’t want to leave . Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone

For me it was perfect, but there was no privacy in the dorm like a curtain or something similar.

In this hostel I felt like I was part of a big family! Nice staff, big and clean common area, terrace with an amazing view, comfy bed and clean bathroom. I really recommend this hostel if you‘re travelling alone as you will quickly make friends!

Bathroom & toilet are not so clean. Many towels in the hanger, it could be from people who has checked out.

The view, sufficient electricity plugs to charge phones, location is not bad. At the time I travelled, it was the only good option. The room can be locked and availability of a locker. Clear instruction how to reach the hostel (shortcut).

They promoted 20% off food and drinks at their location but when I asked about it he said they were already discounted and didn’t give me it when I bought my drink. I wish the room was a little cooler since it was so hot outside but it was somewhat manageable if I took a cold shower before sleeping. This was one of the more expensive rooms I booked.

I liked we had a bathroom in our room and USB plugs to charge our devices at the bed. Organized events were nice and they allowed me to store my luggage once I checked out and when I came early. There is a fridge but I didn’t use it as I wasn’t aware there was one until my last day.

Just one bathroom for room. If I wanted to take a shower, use the toilet and brush my teeth, that takes a while… and when you have just one bathroom and 6 people in a room it’s hard and uncomfortable.

The people, I loved how easy it was talk to everyone. I guess the common areas helped a lot. We gathered really easy.
