Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Czech RepublicFor us the bed was to soft, but it is really subjective. If you like 100% quite you need to know that the apartment is on the main round, for us this wasnt a problem at all but for someone it could be.
Everything was literally perfect. The apartment has Everything what it needs, from the tarase, kitchen, bathroom and the bed. The apartment was clean, perfectly prepared and designed. The ownwrr eqs really nice !

Comfortable apartment opposite the bus stop to the ferries in Zaglav. Elizabeta was there to meet me from the bus. It is only a short walk down some steps into centre of Sali. Lovely outdoor, shaded patio and good facilities in the kitchen.

We felt that thanks to our host, his family and their superb apartments, our holiday was so Much more special! Jure , his wife and also his mum were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming , humble and sociable, we felt like we were visiting good old friends! Everyone was very genuine, they always gave us best advices where to ho on the island and etc! We are absolutely sure to come back next year with our kids! This place deserves 5+ stars. We loved loved loved our holidays, there was nothing we could fault 🙏🏻

United StatesThe one inconvenience was that the very stylish shower was slow in draining the water. The apartment is located on one of the main roads, however traffic was infrequent.
Very nicely appointed with a chic style. How someone figured out how to build such a modern style, full of incredible details of very good taste in such a compact space is impressive! It must have been an extremely talented arquitect or interior designer 👏 EVERYTHING was very tastefully done with high quality: the sheets, the decoration, the fixtures, the dishes, the cabinets, the mirrored door, should I go on? Even the bedroom ceiling had unique decoration. The location was very convenient, around 40 steps above the city of Sali. I would definitely stay there again.

SloveniaWho knew Dugi otok beside picturesque beaches, amazing adventures and absolutely intact nature offers perfect example of hospitality, accommodation and service combined at the highest level. And it is located right in Sali. This apartment along with its owners has set such high standards, most hotels and accomodations should be using it as an example of how guest can be treated. We had absolutely amazing time in this apartment that basiclaly offers anything and everything you need - even more. For a week it was our home away from home. It is styled with exquisite taste, cleaned to utmost perfection and positioned at the perfect location - two minutes walk away from beautiful Sali, four minutes walk away from the beach. The owners were very helpful, kind and excellent hosts. We highly recommend booking this place if you are travelling to Dugi otok. We will be coming back for sure!
