Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a very nice stay. It was really fun to be staying in the old part of the city that was the palace. The room is very clean, and we even had a nice little sitting area. The windows were great with sound proofing so you could easily shut out the sound of people and restaurants outside when you were ready for sleep.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the Diocletian Palace in Old Town Split. 5 minutes from Uber drop-off and 10 minute walk to ferry terminal. The apartment was super clean and everything was as described. We had use of the fully equipped shared kitchen. Fantastic communication with our host Lea. She answered all our questions pre-arrival and responded to logistic questions very fast.

The location is perfect. Everything is near to the apartment and although it is inside Diocletian's Palace, it is very quiet at night. The staff helped me with everything I asked.

Great location! Like other users said it could be a little noisy at night, but no problem at all when the window is closed. This place locates near the east gate, so the bus terminal and market is very easy to access. Laura is so nice host - her recommended restorans and beaches were perfect.

Greece- There were only shower gel. At least shampoo would have been appreciated (I don't talk even about conditioner or body lotion) - At our arrival, I wrote 3 times our location (from the airport to the bus station) so that Laura could organise herself to meet us on time, but despite that, she arrived 10 minutes later than us and we waited her, while it was very hot outside - I asked several times a paper and pen, but she never brought them - It's not a hotel so there is no housemaid to clean the room everyday (which is ok). But after 2 days, the small trash bins were full and we had no bags to replace them. - The 3rd day, a housemaid came at 9am (instead of 11 as we were told), knocked at our door and entered inside while we were sleeping... she apologized but... These are no big problems, I still highly recommend this place, but they just should be a bit more cautious and "professional".
- Perfect location in the center, but in a small quiet street - Very safe place - Very spacious and clean room, and well organized - Excellent soundproofing - With closed shutter, complete darkness (not waken up early because of the sunlight) - Very confortable bed - Baby cot of excellent quality and brand (the teddy bears were really appreciated) - In the common kitchen, there were a coffee machine, tea, fridge, iron table, line to hang out the washing, etc...

The location was excellent. The apartment is wonderful, way more than we expected. It is so close to everything. Although very noisy outside, the double glazing and window shutters totally blocked out all noise.
