Old building in great position, close to beautiful old town, close to the sea with wonderful seaview terrace. Furniture is a little bit outdated but in my personal opinion it just adds to the whole experience. WiFi was excellent, with no extra charges. Breakfast was better then I expected, there were a lot more choices than I used to. Staff is the best, receptionist was amazing, really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this time we had to go there for work so we couldn't enjoy so much, but I would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting beautiful town of Lovran.

Pros about the hotel: - excellent architecture (which I loved since 2014) - being close to the sea -the breakfast - so many types of food! delicious! -having 2 tennis courts - spacious room - confortable bed sheets - elevator

The parking places are locked and in a situation of arrival it poses some problems, because there is no adequate space for safe short parking before a clerk unlock a place for car. There should be a little refrigerator in the rooms.

The hotel is situated in the very center of Lovran, on the main street and, as such, is easy to find. It is very nice indoor, the room is very large. The breakfast, buffet type, abundant. The personnel is very kind. Parking places in front of the hotel.

Omg I love hotel Lovran, this year we have already been in around 30 hotels around Europe both for business and leisure, and none of them and I’m talking about 5 star hotels had a service like in hotel Lovran. It’s amazing, it’s exactly how I remember it as a kid in the 80’s, were personell speaks at least 3 foreign languages other than Croatian (not counting other Balkanian languages that we like to imagine as foreign languages), were they’re witty and constantly cracking jokes with guests. And then the breakfast, my God nowhere in other EU countries can you get such a rich breakfast for 57€ per night per room. There is everything, warm, cold, fresh, whatever your heart desires even grilled vegetables (for breakfast) and then to top it all Linolada and Chocolino. And then you take your coffee from breakfast area outside to veranda and you have sea right in front of you and the most spectacular view of Kvarner bay. I couldn’t believe that somebody complained here about the plastic covers on the outside tables, omg you have such a view in front of you and you’re complaining about covers on the table. I advise people to go and try and get a similar hotel exactly at (not next to) the lake/sea at Lago di Como or Azzure coast around Cannes as these two areas remind me most to Volosko-Lovran/Kvarner bay area, out of the season for 57€ per night per room including breakfast. Not a chance. The value for money is amazing, and you’re staying in an old villa. Both my wife (who is btw. not Croatian) and me were so amazed that we wanna vote it best stay of the year. If I could I would give it 20.

We were kindly provided with a room upgrade to a seaside view (it was out of season). Breakfast was nice, and the half-board buffet dinner was diverse and good. Good espresso from a beans-to-cup machine. WiFi in the room worked quite well. Parking space is scarce and we failed to make a reservation in advance, yet they still managed to fit us in. We had an enjoyable stay, good value for money.

The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel. We stayed there in November and the AC was set to heat only - you cannot make it cold and you cannot change the temperature. Parking is not free, it costs €10 per day.

This hotel is set in a beautiful neighborhood, and the area, especially if you go down by the coast, is absolutely stunning. The hotel is very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and the room (number 403) was really cute and spacious. We loved the fact that we could not hear noises of other guests from our room. One final point worth mentioning is, the breakfast. This hotel has an amazing breakfast with a huge selection of foods, all of which are delicious. They also provided us with soy milk and gluten free bread, which we very much appreciated. All in all, an excellent hotel for a very cheap price!

The pillow was very lumpy and there was only one. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

A great location with a lovely view from our window. The room was spacious and well appointed. We liked the slightly classic feel to it as the Villa hotels around definitely belong to another era. The person on reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine and it was good it was included in the room price. It was easy to walk down to the walkway by the sea from the hotel. Pay the €10 for parking as there is nowhere else to park.

We we’re happy with the overall possibilities that the hotel offers. The scenic view from the room. The beautiful interior from last century with amazing 4 meter room height. Art noveau-like decorations and nice paintings. A proper meal in the morning and evening at a reasonable price. And the staff there we’re absolutely fantastic!
