The air conditioning stops working frequently even after the doors and windows are closed. And on top of that it cannot be controlled from the room. Only the staff can switch and control it and every time we need to go down two floors. The provided phone number for help only asked to go downstairs. It's very annoying and unpleasant. Although it was 22°c outside, but the room temperature was 28°c and it's was not possible for us to sleep with windows open because of mosquito, insect etc.

The location of the hostel and it's parking facility. You can park your car in the hostel and explore Makarska by foot. Also the behaviour of the lady was really really nice. She also treated is with a welcome drinks

Higyene in the kitchen facility is bad, there's some bad smell all over the ground floor where that kitchen is. I would never eat there, or cook food. This doesn't apply to the sleeping facilities that are on the higher floors.

Rooms are great, we took a private room with a private bathroom and a balcony on the second floor. Whole building is very nice, only 2min walk from the sea port and historical center of Makarska. The nearest beach is 6-7 minutes away on foot.

The room and bathroom lighting could be improved, it resembled candle light. It seems just a matter of putting a higher watts light bulb.

Location was perfect, only 100mts away from the water and crowds. The rooms are clean and correct, we were provided with clean linen, a hand towel and they don't seem to provide bath towels (I didn’t ask about it) so bear that in mind when packing. The staff that checked us in was very helpful and kind. As we went off season (early May), we had free parking in the premises which was nice.

Very close to the main street by the sea (Riva). Very quiet at night. Double room with bathroom and balcony (no views, though). Staff very nice and ready to help. Common kitchen well equiped. Would go back there again!

Regarding the dormitory : it is not satisfactory 10 beds in a cramped space, two showers with no separation between them, one toilet (and you have to go through the showers) is not enough for 10 people Especially compared to the price, even if Makarska is expensive, it was my most pricey hostel among the several I did in Croatia This is a business run by a nice family and maybe the other rooms are ok, but I would not recommend the dormitory there

Position is perfect and staff is friendly and gives good advice They provide also a number of intersting services, and can handle your laundry for you (with additional payment of course)

I stayed in the multibed bedroom and although the air conditioning was on the whole night I was hot and had trouble sleeping. Might be it's just me because as far as I could notice everyone else was sound asleep.

We didn’t like the organisation around the parking. We had to leave in the morning at 6 am to get to work in another town 3 hours away and we asked the day before if we could park the last to be sble to leave without other cars having to move for us to leave. Hostel staff encouraged us that they have keys and will be there in the morning for us. However, no one was there or answering the phone and we were blocked with 4 cars. We had to wake up the staff in the room which was uncomfortable. We ended up leaving 35 minutes later.

We liked the location of the property which is very close (5mins) to the centre and the beach. The room itself is spatious and you have everything you need. It is clean.

Parking space was not good, for the price of 15 euros a day you would expect more. You can't move your car when you want to because they block you with other cars. I would not recommend parking your car there. Even when we wanted to go home we had to wait an hour for them to move other cars so that we can leave.

The location is great, it is close to the center and beaches are not far away. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Tiny sink in the washroom. The dorm room was more of a hallway. But overall building facilities were pleasent.
