Everything - the owners to start with, it’s their home and it feels like it too. The volunteers were so lovely, the painted tiles on the walls that the guests from the past have done.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The view with window is wonderfull. Beach is 5 min walk from hostel. Owner hostel is very nice. I recommend this place!

Lovely hostel with a very friendly staff that made us feel at home right away. The view from the terrace is stunning and the beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Absolutely recommended hostel, we hope to be back another time and hopefully for more than one night!

This hostel was so welcoming, the facilities were fantastic and Dean, Steffi and the volunteers really made an effort to involve the guests and ensure everyone was having a good stay! Would absolutely love to come and stay again :)

I loved every moment of my stay at the Hostel. It was easy to come and go as I pleased. Dean and Steffie created an awesome environment where you can be yourself and truly rest well. I especially enjoyed eating together with the whole Hostel every evening, and feel like that is the reason why I walk away with a lot of new friends. If I could have, I would have stayed longer just to hang out with the amazing people, and to swim at the amazing beach that this small village has! Take it from me, if you're reading this review and about to book it, you can't go wrong by adding a day or 5 extra to your stay here :)

Probably the best hostel I have ever stayed at! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step your foot in this hostel. It has a very warm vibe and owners are wonderful people, kind and generous. They shared the food with us and made us feel like home. Actually the whole place feels like you are just visiting old friends! The view from the terrace is marvelous! Great location, beach is just a short walk away. There is also a bar and atmosphere in the evening is great. Can't recommend enough, we will definitely be coming again for a longer stay!

This hostel is truly unique. Rarely do you encounter such genuinely warm-hearted hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The volunteers who help run the bar and organize various other activities are just as welcoming. The hosts offer yoga sessions and a weekly trip to the local market, among other activities. The location, with its crystal-clear sea and stunning mountains, makes the entire experience truly special.

There are probably other wonderful places like Dean's and Stafy's Hostel Dalmatia on Earth, but I've never seen the like of them before. Absolutely home-like ambiance, you feel as if your old friends have invited you to be a guest in their home. Very attentive with details they trying to make best for your pleasant staying. I am surely recommend this place to everyone who wants to find a new friends and spend beautiful days here.

Kindest host I've ever met and lovely atmosphere at the hostel. Ideal as both a single night stop or a secluded relaxation destination. Got warm dinner when I arrived to go along with the uno game the volunteers and fellow guests were having. Luna (super friendly border collie) will gladly accompany you for a night's swim. Cleanliness, facilities, etc were top notch.

Some sort of crazy experiment in how to make the perfect hostel. I have stayed in a lot of them, I know something about how much work it is to get things right, the owners do it tirelessly, and reading the reviews and the guestbook, it's clear that each guest is made to feel special, without laying on unnecessary stuff and letting you do your own thing. It creates a great place to meet people and visit the town and local beaches, and learn about how to live in hedonistic fun. It's a cool place to visit just as a human being in life, never mind as a hostel or something. Don't stay in other places - stay here instead.

Hostel Dalmatia is without a doubt the best hostel I have stayed in throughout Europe. The hospitality & ammenities are amazing and when you’re a guest here, it feels like family. The view is absolutely sensational as well as the owners; their kindness, generosity and advice on what to do throughout Croatia will make you never want to leave. I would recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone no matter what the season is.

Everything was really good,, I am so satisfied! I had been walking the whole day, I was tired and had no water left. The welcome I got was really nice and I got a big glas of water with ice before we did anything else. It was sunday and I didnt jhave.so much to eat with me. The couple that owns the hostel had a lot if ready food I just could heat for free. So I and a german guy ate together! Its not like that al the time but I had really luck. I went to bed early . I regret I didnt take one more beer on the lovely terrass. I will recommend Hostel Dalmatia to my friends and I can easy come back. I also learned about a hikingtrail in the mountains I woukd like to do and got good help for my next hikingday. Thanks a lot 🥰! Helena
