Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We were met at the ferry and had help to get our luggage to the hotel, our room was upgraded to a larger room, and the rooms themselves were modern, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional and the staff were fantastic. Their recommendations on what to do and where to eat for our short stay in Hvar made it a stand out on our trip.

United StatesMate was an one of the best hosts we had in Croatia. He met us at the ferry and helped carry our luggages to our room and did the same when we left. He was very warm and hospitable. I call him super Mate because he did everything including helping prepare breakfast with Lorena. And delicious breakfast come w the room! Their room was not big but well designed to be very comfortable. Mate gave us good recommendations too. Will definitely stay with Hotel Dea Hvar again!

The location was right off the ferry terminal. A quick 2 minute walk. In the heart of old town. Close to everything you would want to see. Staff at the hotel was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay here.

Amazing stay! We were greeted by staff st the ferry to help us with our luggage up the city stairs. We were also upgraded for free to a larger room with a wonderful balcony. The room was so comfortable and the staff was accommodating the entire stay. Amazing breakfast each morning and 10/10 location.

United StatesIt wasn't a dislike for us but if you expect large luxurious rooms you may be disappointed.
My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The accommodation was close many restaurants and activities. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I also like that it is a family run business and brings that personal charm. Breakfast was included and delicious (We liked the salty pancake). There are stairs associated with the accommodation but that is just part of staying in Hvar and the guys who run the hotel will meet you at the ferry and carry your bags up if you need that. They also run a delicious taco place around the corner. Would definitely recommend the hotel and associated businesses.

Perfectly located 5 or 10 mins walk from the main port, centrally located in HVAR town, very close to all the bars, restaurant and harbor but no noise at night which was great. We actually forgot out passports when we left and had a flight the next day from Dubrovnik and the hotel staff pulled off a miracle trip with a taxi driver to get our passports delivered overnight so we didn't miss our flights, thats the kind of extra service you never forgot. Thanks so much to the staff !

United KingdomThe room didn’t have any view despite the pictures looking like it looked out to sea, however for the amount of time we spent in the room this didn’t really matter. It also stated a seating area, which there isn’t really unless you count the stool at the dressing table.
The bedroom room was spacious and spotless; it had a TV and good lighting and AC alongside minimalist décor. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of heathy options! The bathroom is compact and very modern with lots of free compliments. The staff were super; they were very attentive, going well out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall, the hotel is in a super location an we would highly recommend it.
