It's hard to contact the owner without phone service, although I did see her most mornings. The location was a bit tough to get to, as it's a bit of a walk with many stairs from the main town area.

I enjoyed my stay in a private room. The terrace was wonderful, bathrooms were plentiful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. I'm glad I booked a room with AC, as the other indoor spaces were quite warm. The family-run atmosphere was lovely, and I felt very welcome at the hostel. Thank you!

Very cozy hostel in the middle of the town, perfect for a short or longer stay. Both the rooms and the common areas are well-equipped. Beware of the fact that the hostel is in a pedestrian area, so it is not immediately obvious to reach. However, for the sane reason it is very quiet outside :)

The bed is relatively short for my height. At the end of the bed there is a high wooden finish so I couldn't fully stretch so that my legs could hang off the bed.

A basic room that has everything we need. We especially like that it is equipped with a refrigerator. Room is without air conditioning, but it has a fan, which was enough for us. :) It is possible to prepare lunch or dinner in the common kitchen, but the knives would need to be sharpened every now and then, and a few wooden spoons would also be welcome for more easily cooking. Owner is very nice and kind.

Main bathroom didn't lock, light in the kitchen is oppressive white and lack of window in our room was a bit sad.

The service was very nice to talk to! The AC was very pleasant and compensated lack of window. Beds were very comfortable. It's a good place for the price that we paid. Definitely good for a night or two.

The location is fantastic - up on the hill in the old town with excellent city view, modest but cozy and comfortable room, super clean, very well equipped kitchen, many bathrooms, spacious common areas, big common terrace. Gives you a perfect feeling of the country house from your childhood. Great wifi! 10 min to katamaran stop, to min to the big supermarket, 10 min to the St Martin beach. Hosts are absolutely lovely people

Much better than expected. Nice, large kitchen and common area, small but sufficient single room, clean bathrooms, hot water. The location on Google Maps is correct and easy to find. You can avoid all stairs by ascending via the main road that gently slopes up from the harbour. For the last 5 minutes you have to move left into smaller alleys, and here Google Maps will be useful to find your way. For sure, there are numerous other routes to reach Hostel Flora from the harbour, but they all involve a lot of stairs. There is no permanently staffed reception at the hostel. Call 20 minutes before you arrive and somebody will meet you at the hostel for check-in. From the catamaran port to the hostel you'd walk up in 15-20 minutes with baggage, while from the hostel down to the port area it only takes 5-10 minutes.

I loved my room at this hostel! The hostel owners were very welcoming and I felt super safe as a solo female traveller. It’s also very close to good hiking trails and nice swim/snorkelling spots. There’s a Lidl not too far so I made most of my meals in the hostel kitchen which was really economical too.

I liked everything! If I ever visit Mali Losinj again, I will definitely stay at Flora Hostel! :-)

- location - very close the main hallmark of Mali Lisinj (the church on the hill), so relatively easy to find + located in a small street for pedestrians only - the porch in front of the hostel with tables and chairs to have a meal at covered with a thatched roof - palm trees and other plats and flowers on the terrace - the owner - very friendly, helpful and communicative - the possibility of leaving my luggage after checking out - well-equipped kitchen

Would prefer one big bed instead of twin beds.

Very beautiful an cosy accomodation for the price you pay. The staff is really kind and helpful. The bathrooms are shared but there are a few which are more than enough. Hostel has a kitchen as well so you can use it for everything you need.

Way overpriced. Bathrooms without proper ventilation (or window), broken shower cap, old/cheap pillows, really poor sound isolation - got woken up several times by people going to the bathroom/into their room.
