Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Drazen, the host, was so amazing, warm and lovely. He was very understanding when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night. He greeted us at the flat and gave us the perfect welcome. The beds were some of the comfiest I have slept in and the flat was clean and well designed. We were staying only for one night and had to get the ferry early in the morning so the location was perfect with only a 5 minute walk to the ferry port. I would definitely stay here again. 100% would recommend!

Just phenomenal. The host reserved a parking spot for us after a long drive to Split, and helped us get 100% comfortable. The apartment is big, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. The location is spectacular - right near old town and also the ferry. We only stayed 1 night, but wish we had stayed longer. This is what every booking.com experience should be like - I'd stay here again and again. Host went WAY above and beyond - thank you so much from this family of 5!

The flat is in a perfect location, next to port, city center. There are plenty o bakeries and a super market just next to it. The host was the best! He let us check -in early and late as I was travelling with kids. The apartment is spacious, very clean, with all the kitchen gadgets you need. It also has a washing machine. If we visit again we would def stay in this flat!

Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The owner stayed in constant touch and responded very quicjly for any issues and went above on his help to find parking space, which is normally a struggle in main city centre. Apartment was very comfortable with all basic amenities.
