Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We got lost on arrival and contacted host Pjer who guided us to the apartment and the parking spot. The same when we were leaving. Slavka, Pjer’s wife was gracious and greeted us warmly, and helped with anything we needed. Mani was a bonus we loved, their family dog. Recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality and family ambience. Apartment was well equipped and worth every penny. It is in centre of Beac and easy to navigate around, close to the beaches and all facilities. If you are ever in Brac, this is your home, away from home.

ItalyEverything was perfect. Location right in the center of Bol, we never had to use the car. All facilities, restaurants, beaches are accessible by foot or with taxi boats. Slavka and Pjer were super friendly and gave us lots of useful indications for our stay.

I always find overly positive reviews a bit suspicious. Are they written by real costumers? Are the reviewers payed? Are the reviews written by persons who are afraid of hurting the feelings of the owners and therefore don’t dare to give their true and honest opinion? Therefore I’m sorry to write yet another overly positive review of Golden Ray, but believe me, it is as amazing as it sounds! I stayed at the apartment with my wife and our two teenagers, and we all want to come back! The apartment is the full first floor of a privately owned home. It is spacious, with two bedrooms both having efficient air condition. The master bedroom has its own small bathroom and a walk-in-closet. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and extra blankets are available if you overdo the AC. The bedroom windows are soundproof, so we didn’t hear any noises at all during the night (I’m a very light sleeper in new places and I’m usually easily disturbed by unfamiliar sounds). Both bedrooms have plenty of shelves and hangers for clothes. The open-plan kitchen is well equipped, with everything needed when it came to pans, pots, cutlery etc. And an efficient AC! Just to try to come up with something that wasn’t 100% perfect: if we had stayed longer we might have missed a microwave oven. The kitchen is a bit small, and is best suited for one person making food. The living room is nice, although we didn’t spend much time there, instead we spent most of our waking hours outside on the very cozy terrace. The terrace has a view of both the ocean and the mountains, it has a large table and 6 chairs, there are drying lines for your swimwear, and the roof ensures that you can sit in the shade more or less the whole day (and you don’t get wet if it should rain). There’s even an electric grill available. The apartment was unusually clean and well-kept. All floors and surfaces were spotless, all plates, cups and utensils in the kitchen were shining, and the bathrooms felt almost new.

The apartment is just like the photos. Excellent location, very clean, AC works great. The kitchen is well equipped in the laundry machine was great to have. Very nice patio with a little view of the ocean. Slavka and Petr were wonderful hosts and recommended some nice restaurants and a private tour boat. If we go back to Bol, we will stay here again.

Great communication with the owners from the moment we booked Large upstairs apartment of family home. Own entrance, key safe. Sea views and views over the olive grove. Ideal location for restaurants, harbour, shops and ferry. Beautiful apartment with all the home comforts. Our first visit to Bol and the owners gave us great information on what to do, even booked restaurants for us.
