Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsWe should have stayed longer!
The nature around the house is incredible everything is freshly prepared with if rudeness from the garden! The tavern and the fine dining restaurant are worth trying, we absolutely loved both experiences! And do try their wines! Rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean. Staff is very kind, helpful and made sure we had the best time! Thank you again, we will be back! ❤️

CanadaWhen a small and probably harmless but nonetheless scary scorpion made it's way into our bedroom. Not the hotel's fault, they are native to Pag island but still, a bit creepy.
The winery is incredible, the food was exquisite and the service was world-class hospitality.

United KingdomVery little not to like. Our initial arrival could have been a little more welcoming and informative, and the pool area could have been cleaned and tidied a little more but that’s clutching at straws and neither negatively affected our stay.
The property is set in beautiful surrounds and is the perfect place to relax for a few days. Rooms are stylish and spacious, the staff are extremely friendly and always accommodating, and the food is outstanding. Highlights are breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, and of course the evening tasting menu.

It was a super nice and tastefully decorated hotel. They have very few rooms so it felt private and special (not the feeling of a big chain hotel). The hotel has a very good restaurants (even a Michelin star one). The food was amazing … best breakfast ever!

United KingdomWe liked the whole experience :)
Hotel Boskinac is an oasis tucked between olive trees and vineyards on the Pag hills and the atmosphere is absolutely peaceful. We stayed for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was the most relaxing experience. The room was large, beautifully decorated with natural elements and we had a tiny balcony overlooking the courtyard. The staff was welcoming, especially Marina who served the fabulous breakfast (which was included in our room price). It was a pleasure to relax in sun loungers by the pool, have a drink in the different seating areas and take in the serenity of the place! We felt absolutely spoiled and I would say the price is extremely fair/reasonable for the overall experience! We had the vegetarian course at the Michelin star restaurant and that was a beautiful culinary experience. Recommending wholeheartedly to choose this boutique hotel!

NetherlandsBy far the best hotel we ever stayed at. Everything was wonderful, from the breakfast to the rooms and the staff to the pool. We loved it so much we never wanted to leave. Both restaurants are amazing, although a bit expensive. The wines are absolutely incredible and the sommelier is super nice and helpful. I hope we can come back soon because this place is truly remarkable.

The scenery is a dream. It is not a hotel but a huge Villa/Castle with its own property in the middle of a mountain. The park, the Villa, the poolside, everything was beautiful. The vibe was dreamy.. :)

NorwayPerfect stay with the best staff and wonderful atmosphere. We absolutely loved it and are already looking into our next stay. The staff was so welcoming and helpful with our 1yo. I will never forget how the manager (?) Boris carried our stroller and baby up and down stairs, held her chewed up straw (with enthusiasm) when our baby handed it over, and served her poached eggs in the morning. Just absolutely perfect and look forward to next time. A little tip; dont follow the Google maps directions to/from the pag ferry. Take the long way through the city (much prettier as well!). W e ended up offroading on a bike track by a rock quary, garbage dump and in a forrest. 😅

AustraliaThe couple next door were not very quiet late at night - if you catch my drift. I don’t blame the hotel for it, people need to be more perceptive about who is around them. Or maybe they just need to care that people can hear them. Regardless, my suggestion especially during summer months would be to put in a fan (ceiling or even pedestal) so we can still have a breeze but can close the windows so that the obnoxious feline and porcine sounds of the night can remain outside where they belong.
As soon as we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beautiful location. It overlooks the rolling hills filled with olive groves and sheep. When we went in October it was so quiet and peaceful, but I can imagine at busier times that the liveliness and hacienda feel to the place would be amazing. The rooms were beautiful and well maintained with amazing windows that opened right up to the afternoon breeze. It was a real local experience even down to the local water. The breakfast was incredible. We got to try so many amazing things specifically from the island of Pag. Michelin star restaurant is expensive as should be expected, but well worth it! It’s an amazing experience, treat yourself!
