Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaWhat I noticed from the start in communication with these wonderful hosts, even before I met them in person, was their reassuring presence and helpfulness. They are extremely responsive to their guests’ questions and needs and their unobtrusive, yet warm hospitality truly made me feel at home during my stay in Sutivan. The house itself is in a quiet area, but at the same time, it is close to everything you might need. A 3-minute walk down the street will take you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Sutivan, with many more lined up for you to choose from. At the same time, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the center of this picturesque little town. The apartment was private and cozy – exactly what I needed at the end of the day. A number of details in the apartment clearly tell you that the guests’ needs are carefully considered and taken care of. I admired the simplicity and power of perception in the details. And if you manage to think of something which is not already there for you, your hosts will be more than happy to provide it. Last, but not least, despite Miroslav’s claim that the Internet was of average quality, I actually managed to have a really decent connection and give a couple of online classes in the evenings. I have nothing but praise for Boba’s House – you will enjoy your stay there.

SpainThe apartment is a bit old, the sofa bed is not comfortable and maybe it should be renovated. It is far from the Bol area but we knew that when we booked.

NetherlandsNone of the lights exepct for the bathroom light worked so when we got home after dinner we were stumbling about in the dark. The room was really small with our luggage on the ground there was almost no room to move around. The sleeping couch really does not fit 2 adults it fits 2 children at most. The showerhead holder was broken so washing your hair was a difficult chore.
Location was decently close to the sea and the airconditioning worked but had no controls
