The hotel is lovely, with large comfortable rooms and good faciliities. The staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast offering is excellent. It is also in a great location, and I always enjoy coming back here every year.

Unfortunately, a huge bus of chinese travelers vampirized the breakfast place, the staff was submersed and despite their kindness, our breakfast was poor... Also the dinner at the restaurant was OK, but not at par with what one would expect from a Relais& Chateaux

We kinda splurged lotsa money on the room and private boat island tour, but hey, it was our choice to do so.

High-end hotel room located in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the Sea Organ. Very courteous staff (especially Marina), as you would expect from such a quality hotel. Very comfortable bedding and all the amenities you could hope for.

The location is perfect and all the staff we interacted with were the nicest we have met on our whole trip. Friendly, smiled, helpful, cheerful. Other hotels were okay but unlike Bastion, often felt the resentment. I would highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was fabulous, not just a croissant!Beautiful area to walk, always felt safe. Really lovely.

The location of Bastion Heritage Hotel is ideal for exploring all that Zadar has to offer. Situated within the historic walls of Zadar Old Town it is walking distance to all landmarks and the sea. We were able to immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture and history of this enchanting destination with ease. Our room was spacious, very clean, and we had stunning views overlooking the sea. Sunrise was especially beautiful. The spiral staircase stood out immediately, adorned with original stone walls, and was a stunning focal point within the hotel's interior. It evoked a sense of history and grandeur and I preferred ascending and descending the stairs instead of taking the lift. The staff's exceptional service exceeded our expectations, leaving a lasting impression on our experience. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations for exploring the city, every interaction was characterised by genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect, and for that, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to Marina and Ivan for their outstanding service and attention to detail throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. In summary, our stay at Bastion Heritage Hotel Zadar exceeded all expectations and left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. This hotel is the perfect choice for an unforgettable experience. It was difficult to find they need to provide better directions, the location and parking is Top just difficult for first timers to find….for example it’s just across from the teatro hotel turn right and call them and they will open the gate remotely, we had to park walk around find it and then back to the car and park, not a big deal but this small improvement would help when you have been driving for a few hours and want to get to your hotel without hunting for it…..
