Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. HungaryUnfortunately, the accommodation was a big disappointment... The breakfast was the same every day. In one of the rooms, the shower curtain rod was broken, and the water barely flowed from the showerhead. The toilets didn’t flush, which caused a bad smell. Poor soundproofing. The balcony was dirty, with water from the air conditioning unit dripping onto it. There were dead birds in the parking lot. The bed was comfortable, but that’s not much of a consolation. In one room, the light switch was broken; in another, the bathroom door couldn’t be locked. For four days, we received only two rolls of toilet paper... There was no receptionist at the front desk, and communication through Booking.com was also not smooth. I'm sorry that this ruined the vacation experience. We were really waited to it when we booked. 😞😔 I hope they will find solution….

SloveniaIt is a little bit old, “calls” for renovations. our bed was supported by a brick. Same breakfast every day, if you want to have a little more choice you have to go early because the food runs out, the eggs were cold.

Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel and in a wonderful location. The hotel has a very nice beach a minute's walk away, and is very close to the centre of Pag. Breakfast is included in the price and is basic ( eggs, spreads, cheese and sausages, fruit, etc.) but good. We stayed in a room with a large balcony and a nice sea view.

HungarySome more variety in the breakfast would have been nice, and there were some minor issues with the house, like paper thin walls and damaged shower stall.
The place is really close to the beach, the staff is nice and the price/value ratio is perfect.

Room: we really didn't have a poor locker for 3 people it would have been little even for 1 person with 2 hangers for a jacket and 2 for trousers, room cleaning: you can't even comment 0 change of sheets and towels every 6 days, the room for 2 people provided to us that we were 3 people smaller than a narrow bathroom with 3 very small beds and even too soft mattresses . the bathroom without towel hanger, high mirror for people of 190cm, smell of sewage to hold your nose, shower no comment. restaurant: breakfast, very meager, dinner was enough once it is never to be repeated again, then in the restaurant room water enters various points of the ceiling since then it always rained, there is no room for judgment they should change jobs, beach : few and most broken deck chairs, on the positive side the sea under the dilapidated hotel, the hotel located very far from the center, reachable by car or on foot and the bus line is very far away. This hotel looks like it was stuck in the 60s.
