The property is located at the heart of Slip which is very convenient to pop in and out when you want. Ideal for a stop over to visit other nearby islands. The host met us at the property and gave us good insight about oboit the town.

The place was phenomenal! It's really spacious, the bed was quite big as it was the bathroom . Everything was very clean and seemed quite new. The location is unbeatable. Close to the city beach and even more to the promenade and old town. Everything is just a few steps away, including supermarkets. Breakfast is at a restaurant a few metres away and it was great. The ladies working there were really nice and there was enough variety to choose from. The host was also nice and helpful! All in all, a wonderful stay and I'd definitely go back if I'm in Split.

Be careful getting out of bed as the walls slant and you can hit your head. Also, be careful coming down the stairs as the steps can be a bit slippery.

Great location and cozy, clean apartment. Great space and amenities - has everything you need. There are night lights that are helpful, especially getting down the stairs at night to use the bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice shower!

The loft bedroom got a little warm as the aircon didn't really reach upstairs.

Mislav was an excellent host, very helpful at check in and supplying lots of local recommendations. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything you could ask for and more. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the town.

Lovely newly renovated apartment in a great location - moments from the city beach and the town. Very clean and comfortable with lots of facilities. The owner met us personally and gave us lots of tips. It's on a busy street but you can't hear a thing indoors! Great sound proofing.

Not necessarily something to not like, but something that could be considered is the check out time. We think that the check out 8am - 10am is a bit early when you are in a vacation mood :)

The apartment is wonderful! The host is so friendly and helpful. Very clean, new room with all things you need! I highly recommend you to choose this place! Close to the old city, shop, bus station from the airport, beach, market and i guess everything you need!

I was met by the host at the taxi and shown to the apartment. I left my luggage as it was too early for check-in. I then requested a check-in one hour early, which was granted. When I returned, I was given the details and key to enter.

There was nothing that could have improved our experience.

The apartment is very central, located as it is on the edge of the Old Town and a short few minutes walk to the Riva. Despite it's central position, it is very quiet at night and we had no difficulty with noise. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The owner was very helpful in making local suggestions and checked in over our 8-day stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The cleaning staff were also amazing. They were friendly and pleasant when we met them and did a superb job in freshening up the apartment during our stay. We loved our stay at Vila Mak!

The front door is tricky. We had to use a lot of force to get it to close and lock properly.

Perfect location! It was only 8 minutes from the airport shuttle stop and the 2 tours that my friends and I booked.

A welcome pack of normal tea bags would have been appreciated and perhaps milk, since I arrived so late. Other than that, excellent.

Issue is not with the property but with the customer experience on booking.com I received close to 20 emails relating to my booking. Extremely annoying and frustrating. The emails with details re checking in and out were received later, after the fact. Booking leadership team need to sit down and look at the customer experience - I won’t use them again as a result.
