Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandI bit far away from the harbor. If you're travelling with your family by car, please note that you will have to pay a lot for parking in the city throughout your stay.
Location is picturesque, facility super clean and comfy, host as friendly as it gets. Apartment was spacious and surprisingly I didn't have to sell my kidney to stay in there - fully recommend!

PortugalThe house is located on an upper hill, a bit far from the centre, but for those with a car, that doesn't even apply.
We loved our stay in this house. The neighbourhood is tranquil and the house is spacious, having enough space to cook and enjoy the environment. When we arrived, the house smelled fresh and clean, very appreciated. Everything was clean. There was a washing machine and a dishwasher, very useful to not waste time on holidays. The outside space was nice to take the breakfasts. And we'd like to emphasize the hospitality from the host. Despite the language barrier, she was so lovely offering us fruit from her backyard (fresh and delicious), and her husband drove us to the bus station on the morning of check-out. It was a great experience, and we recommend it for a stay in Makarska.

United KingdomIf I’m being really picky the Wi-Fi signal wasn’t great and kept dipping in and out but still able to use it, tv selection was only Croatian tv but that’s if I’m being really picky.
Host was very welcoming. Happy to help with our bags and go over how the room works with us, very flexible as they extended their check out time too. Very clean and tidy apartment. Had an oven, fish washer and washing machine which was very useful! Parking space on site, so close to the beach and a konzum around the corner. Everything was perfect the view was stunning from the property and the garden was a lovely touch.

GermanyA little bit noisy - you can hear very well when someone uses the bathroom. One of the bedrooms is located just near another apartment, and you can't avoid getting outside or opening the curtains without meeting the neighbours.
The host was very friendly, she provided us with fruits, water, and juice on arrival. Private parking just on the building. The apartment is quite big, with 3 bathrooms, and with its own big terrace with grill (nicely prepared by the host for grilling). Well-equipped kitchen. Beach is accessible by auto (±3 minutes).

GermanyThere is absolutely, totally honestly nothing to dislike about this place. I have stayed in many properties and this one far exceeded my expectations. It's just really, really perfect.
We stayed here for eleven nights with our two dogs. One of which is a very young Siberian Husky, who is yet to learn some "etiquette" of behaviour in someone else's house! The host was so welcoming, warm and extremely accommodating. She lives on the site and is always at hand if needed. The apartment is simply wonderful. Two double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with shower. Wardrobe and storage space is plentiful. Lighting is good, mirrors, comfy bed, air-con in every room. There is a seperate "family" bathroom with a shower over bath tub. Washing machine. Again, plenty of storage in the bathroom and good lighting. The kitchen and living area is open plan and extremely spacious. Kitchen is well equipped, oven but no microwave. Dishwasher (although I prefer to wash by hand so I didn't use it), large dining table for six people. Really modern fridge, super! The back door opened onto a beautiful terrace patio area, with table and chairs and a sofa. Steps gave access to the communal gardens which could be used by all apartment guests. The patio terrace is exclusive for the use of the apartment we stayed in. Entire apartment was comfortable and refreshing after hot sunny days out. Easy to keep floors clean, despite the hairy dogs! The host was constantly cleaning up after our dogs, but she never complained. The husky attacked a couple of her plants, for which we tried to compensate but she refused to accept. Location is really close to the city centre. A shop selling everything you might need is easily in walking distance. We found a local beach that was simply amazing and accepting our dogs. Not many beaches allow dogs to run about and swim, and this is a major prequisite of our holidays. I can't recall the name off hand, but check Google Maps and it's the dog beach listed in the immediate vicinity.
