Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Fantastic location, views over the Marina and over into Makarska, three minute walk to the local restaurants and shops. Accommodation was superb, all expected amenities were present, very clean and the hosts were extremely helpful and lovely people. Would highly recommend if you want a perfect stay in Makarska.

United KingdomWhat a fantastic stay! The apartment and its location are great. The view on Makarska town and marina is magnificent, both during the day and at night. The beach, town centre, restaurants and shops - everything within a short distance. The apartament has everything that is needed, even for a longer stay. What is the most exceptional is the host Matko and his family. So nice people - very friendly and are always willing to help! We had a really wonderful holiday in a beautiful town, great apartment with absolutely wonderful hosts. Thank you so much Matko!

Having travelled extensively around the world for an all round combination of location, views, cleanliness, facilities, price and great hosts this is by far the best we have ever been in. It is situated within a 3 minute walk to the beach and town providing safe and secure parking. It is an immaculate and very comfortable apartment which has a balcony for morning coffee, lunch and evening drinks giving panoramic views of Makarska. Highly recommend.

Apartments Beso is located in a perfectly cute historical house. We stayed for Sunrise apartment for one night and we were really sad that we couldn’t stay longer. It was our first time in Makarska and we totally fell in love in this city and that lovely apartment with a beautiful view! Definitely the best place where to stay - middle of city center and what is the most important - next to the sea! Owner of the apartment were really kind and nice people, felt like he is our friend who we have known already for a long time. 100% worth visiting, would love to go back anytime! Highly recommend this apartment - very clean, modernly equipped with breathtaking balcony view and absolutely perfect! We are in love to apartments Beso! Greetings from Estonia💕

Czech RepublicI will keep this simple. This year, the greed of some Croats knows no bounds. They wanted to charge me 500 EUR for a broken window seal, which was peeled off by the kids but was already in bad shape (This should cost no more than a few EUR). Additionally, they wanted to charge me for a minor mess on departure, which was due to lack of time. Moreover, they made up the excuse that we had stolen the TV remote, which simply wasn't put back in its place but was in another room.
They were friendly at first.
