Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The property was fantastic! It had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was comfortable, clean, the location was perfect - not too far from the old town, and the walk to get there is pretty. The owner and her parents in the apartment next door were so lovely and checked in on us if we needed anything throughout the week (as well as giving us recommendations).

PolandThe apartment has everything you need, it is very well furnished, clean and cosy. The hosts are lovely and always ready to help. They allowed us to check out later as we had our plane in the evening. The location is top as well, 10min walk from the old Town. We were treated with mandarines straight from the garden which were delicious! And we became friends with their sweet dog Luna ☺️

This was a wonderful apartment, the photograph's are representative of the property which was modern, clean and comfortable with an effective air conditioning system. The location for Zadar, old town, bus stops and ferries are within about a 15 minutes walk and the surrounding area is generally quiet. The host met us as at the property even though we were late and spoke English with advice as to where to go and places to eat. She was pleasant and her local knowledge was appreciated. Her parents live above the apartment and were pleasant and helpful. The host and her family were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We would stay again.

SlovakiaThe only minor thing would be that the AC is in the kitchen instead of the bedroom, so for people not used to hot temperatures it might be a bit harder to sleep. But there are blinds so it's not a big deal at all.
Best appartment we've had to date, nice host, new furniture, decent location (10 mins to center, 25 to the city beach by foot), AC unit, big balcony to have breakfast and dry clothes. The kitchen had everything you might need to prepare your own food, including a toaster.

United KingdomVery minor - a hook for hanging a bathrobe in the bedroom would be useful, and also hooks for towels in the kitchen. Maybe a couple of small side tables to use to put your cup of tea/coffee on when sitting on the sofa. Minor things.
Excellent apartment - suited our needs perfectly for a 5-night stay to attend a wedding in Zadar. Beautiful apartment - relatively new, very clean, with a balcony where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Not far from the old city - 15 minute walk. Excellent host - very friendly and accommodating, with excellent English. Contacted us to see how we were getting on and if we needed anything - also gave some recommendations for places to see and places to shop and eat.

The apartment was very clean, spatious and modern, with all the utilities we could ask for and more. The hosts, Marija and Iosip were really nice and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants and gave us info on where to find tourist trips to the islands, along with the Zadar map we found on the table when we arrived, which had all the important info about the city. I really recommend the place and the hosts, everything was perfect.

Brand new apartment on a perfect location, within 5 mins walking distance from the center of Zadar, but far enough that it’s quiet. Super clean. Free public parking just in front of the apartment. Would stay there again for sure.
