Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these areas, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandEverything was perfect as mentioned we were made welcome from the minute we arrived.
We loved Ana the host . She made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and took the time to show us where we were located on the map and to get our bearings around the city. Ana gave us some recommendations on where to go in the city and a rough idea how much it would cost. Ana is also an amazing cook and gave us some absolutely delicious apple pie. We honestly didn't want to leave we enjoyed the accommodation it was so chill and quiet .we also appreciated the help from Ana alot and will be coming back again in the near future.

United States of AmericaNothing! Everything was great!
Ana was absolutely fantastic! She’s easily one of the most gracious hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make our stay in Dubrovnik unforgettable. Ana provided wonderful recommendations, surprised us with delicious cake, helped with parking, and shared her love for the city with us. We truly loved her! The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the view was nothing short of spectacular. We can't recommend staying here enough. Thank you, Ana!

United KingdomThere was nothing at all wrong with the apartment, nothing I didn't like.
Ana was an amazing host, the first day she sat with us and offered ideas for where to go, what to see etc, and it was all very helpful. Ana made it known that she wouldn't encroach on us and would wait for us to leave for the day before replacing towels and the bedding. Ana was more than friendly with everything, giving us her whatsapp number and constantly reminding us that if we ever needed anything all we had to do was text her and she'd get on to is ASAP. I don't think I can ever miss out Ana's generosity, putting little treats in the fridge for us or handing us other treats without every expecting it!!!! The apartment itself was fantastic, comfortably bed, clean linen and towels, plus extras like a coffee machine, fridge, cooker etc. The view from the balcony was brilliant too and you are right at the bottom of the Mount Srđ trail. Everything was within walking distance too which was more than ideal.

ItalyAna was super kind and made us feel at home. The sea view at night Is wonderful and the apartment Is nice and have everything you need to be more than comfortable. The apartment was very close to the bus stop for number 3 which brought us to the city center. Just remember to use a taxi (no bus) to arrive at the apartment, is the most comfortable choice and the taxi will leave you just in front of the apartment.

CanadaNothing. A couple of hooks for hanging clothes in the bathroom can be added.
The place is spotless and neat. The apartment has everything for a comfortable and enjoyable stay: stove, kettle, fridge, coffee machine, WIFI, TV, washing machine, air conditioning. The location is convenient. The sea view from the terrace is beautiful and relaxing. We walked to the grocery store, bakery, Old Town, beaches, and bus stop without any problems. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but we knew that before coming. So, no complaints. There is public transport (bus stop within 2 minutes walk), taxi, Uber. I want to thank you once again, the great host, Ana and her family. She met us on our arrival and provided a lot of helpful information on navigating and enjoying the city. Ana was always in touch if anything was required. She is a very kind and accommodating person. We felt welcomed at her place.

ItalyNothing. Everything was wonderful!
Dubrovnik is, obviously, a gorgeous town, but! What a surprise to find something more memorable than the town in itself :-) We stayed in this flat for three nights and we felt like at home from the first moment, due to the kindness of Ana who is very empathetic and friendly. She’s so warm and attentive, helpful and welcoming. A tasty, warm, fragrant « pita » (apple pie) just appeared on afternoon. Suddenly. And, to avoid a problem you can experience in Dubrovnik (if you travel by car) she handed us her parking… just out of the kindness of her heart. All this is not so common to find while traveling and it’s, in my opinion, a real bonus. The apartment is well located and is spotlessly clean: it was quiet at night and the bed was big and comfortable. Bathroom was nicely appointed and everything worked perfectly (warm shower, air conditioning, wifi, etc.). Kitchen was well equipped and there’s a spacious terrace whith a stunning sea view. Since the place is 10 minutes (walking down) from the Old Town, you’re out of the bustling centre but still close to it. And, really, since Dubrovnik is on a slope, it’s normal to find a remarkable number of steps to climb when getting back. But taxis or public transports can always help you and, sincerely, 10 or 15 minutes of walk are not so exaggerated. We found the location perfect and we will come back, next time. For sure! We give 10... because it's impossible to give 20 ;-) Thank you, dear Ana. Hope to meet you again :-)

She was incredibly kind and friendly and gave us so much information about Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas that influenced our plans during our stay. She is located really close to the Old Town which is perfect for a stay in Croatia. Oh, and if she asks you if you like ice-cream, definitely say yes for a delightful treat ;)

FinlandWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ana is such a warm, attentive host and she made us feel very welcome. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped which was ideal for us dining out on the spacious terrace whilst taking in the stunning sea view. The apartment is peaceful and the bedroom has good storage with a very comfortable bed. We stayed for 9 nights so the washing machine in the bathroom was a real bonus. We found the location perfect as we preferred to be out of the bustling centre. The walk down to the old town took around 10 minutes.. back up to the apartment took longer coming up the steps, but once there the air was fresher and the view is well worth the climb. Uber is reliable for those who may prefer less walking. There's a lovely little bakery just a few minutes walk from the apartment with a convenient supermarket next to it and an Italian style restaurant which we visited a few times, tasty pizza's pastas etc and refreshing cold beer to help with the steps back up. Ana went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, on arrival we were greeted with a chilled bottle of wine and some cold beers in the fridge as it was such a hot day and she would kindly pop by to give us delicious fresh local vegetables and desserts during our stay. The apartment and location ticked all the boxes, but what makes it super special is Ana. We would most certainly recommend staying here.
