We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandJust one small thing, the apartment was very clean except for the floor which was quite dusty and probably needs to be swept and mopped more frequently.
A very clean and comfortable apartment. It was well set up and had a balcony with a lovely outlook over Cavtat. The location is a short scenic walk from the town centre. I enjoyed walking down in the evenings as the sun was setting. I prefer this area of Cavtat to the Beach Zal area because of the old town and access to the rocky swimming areas on the peninsula. I'd stay in this apartment again if I come to Cavtat.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe second smaller bedroom could have more light and it can make you feel a bit claustrophobic.
Immediately upon arrival, a very friendly host gave us the keys. The view was very good, with the compromise having a big tree blocking the direct view to the shore. The parking lot was secured in front of the house. A grocery shop is just 50 meters away which was handy. A spacious apartment. Utilities were all just fine (AC, hot water, etc.). Five minutes drive to the beach parking. This is the best option for Cavtat, if you go by car since there are no mosquitos and humidity like apartments near to the shore. Excellent sound of crickets and birds. And above all very friendly host Ms. Luce and her husband.

IrelandThe advertised pictures were nothing like the accommodation. We were asked to pay more than what we had confirmed with booking.com.only when we showed her the receipt she desisted . We were shown our rooms it was dated and dirty. Grubby would describe it best.we cleaned a little We complained and showed her the pictures we were abused and shouted at ,called liars told this is not booking.com! and told to leave . We thought she would just move us .The fee was returned.We had to gather our stuff shopping etc and were frogmarched out. The pictures are now changed . We didn’t get a chance to take any pictures as evidence so Be wary travellers!!! We had the inconvenience and cost of having to book a second accommodation luckily not too far away which was quaint and perfect for our needs .

United StatesHonestly the apartment was more basic than we anticipated by looking at the pictures. I think the host must have several apartments and maybe some are nicer and roomier than others but our apartment (for family of 4) was not what we expected, small bedrooms and tiny common living/kitchen area. Good thing there is plenty of places to eat in Cavtat as it wouldn’t be convenient to cook at this place. Also, there’s close proximity to the airport and the planes are flying pretty low starting early in the morning, not ideal for light sleepers.
Staff was nice, good communication through booking app. The location was good as far as proximity to the central area of Cavtat where all the restaurants, grocery store and shops are. A bit longer walk to beach Zal but it’s a small town and the walk is pleasant.
