Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

GermanyThe streets around the property were being renovated during our stay but this has nothing to do with the apartment. Probably a better option if you have a car but also doable if you don’t.
Clean self-service apartment, has all that you need, dedicated parking, helpful and non-intrusive owner living on site, great view, good internet, washing machine

Netherlandsthe only thing is the location, a bit far from the centre, but we did not mind this at all
very comfortable place to visit Zadar. it is brand new and much prettier than the pictures. it is a bit far (30 min on foot) to the old town but as it is high up on the hill one profits from the breeze up there. it has a brilliant view over the sea , we saw the famous sunset very well from there. also it is well placed to go to beaches ,on Vir for example. hosts are extremely kind and welcoming. gave us home made liquor from local cherries as a parting gift

FinlandNotice that e.g. Bolt taxi drivers may not find exact location due to some error or inaccuracy in Google Maps system. Taxi cab arrived some where approx. 100 meters from the accommodation. I guess this will be fixed when maps are going to be updated. Of course this is actually not related to Apartment Donat. But good to know.
Everything went smoothly. Some construction work was going on in the day time but did not bother.

the beautiful house has everything you would need, very clean and neat. you constantly feel at home, air conditioning in the leaving room that is combined with kitchen. very good Wi-Fi. in the bathroom there are: washing machine, hairdryer, towels, body shampoo. kitchen has: Kettle, sandwich maker, tv, table with 4 chairs, a sofa which can be used as a bed, all the pan and plates and glasses. Basic spices for cooking, also good coffee and sugar. the kitchen opens up to beautiful balcony with place to barbecue where continue into yard and garden with olive tree. there is a table with two chair in the balcony. Bedroom has a closet and a comfortable double bed with two bedside table. Windows has a blind shedding so you can sleep longer 😊 The owners were living in the upper floor and even though they don’t speak English they were so welcoming and kind. we have arrived around 1 a.m and they were waiting for us so no problem with check in. in the morning the lady braving us a bowl of fruits for our breakfast which was very helping and we very touching. she was very kind and constantly asked us if we need anything. My 5 year old daughter loved them and play with her. check out was also very flexible and we could stay longer to the time that we needed to go to airport.
