Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe breakfast is below par. It is not very tasty, the coffee machine gave very small portions and the atmosphere is or a 'mass tourism' and a bit worn-out place.
We liked the view from our balcony and definitely the swimming pool. You get value for money for this tourist oriented hotel. The elevator from the street to the pool level is very convenient. Personal is friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe mattress was well used. For the price I thought breakfast could have been included.
The location was perfect, amazing views. The staff were very friendly. The pool was a real bonus. Off road parking for the car. You can walk to many beaches or drive to Sinumi beach which is perfect.

PolandThe breakfast was tasty, but repetitive - the same meals every day. Staff could add more food after some time - the people who came a bit later had less to eat.

CanadaCriteria used booking hotel was a restaurant on site....they have a restaurant and they did serve breakfast however any other meals were only available for Slovakian's. Really dont understand this logic and was very inconvenient for my Granddaughter. Should remove hotel has restaurant as only available for select people. Bathroom had bad ordor. If we closed door when left hotlel room then wouldn't stink up rest of room. Bed was two mattresses together that came separated in the night
Staff friendly, have a pool, close to sea multi level seating at hotel sun or shade , breakfast was decent, huge balcony, lovely view, AC worked well, luckily close to restaurants

A hotel with an amazing view. In a quiet part of Pag. Great pool. Near the beach. Staff smiling and open to help. Tasty cuisine. Delicious ice cream for children from the machine. I recommend!

CanadaVery far from the main square and most places to eat. The long walk in the heat was tough. The most deceiving part was the fact this hotel is listed as having a restaurant on site, when in fact it is only open to Slovakians. This was frustrating because one of the main reasons we booked this spot was for the restaurant and having to walk far to get lunch and dinner was disappointing. They need to update their listing so people are aware that they will not be able to eat unless they are Slovakian. When sitting on the patio or by the pool no one comes to take your drink order so we had to constantly go inside.
Beautiful view of the sea and a very nice pool. The lounge areas were nice as well. Despite having a room that didn’t face the sea the view was still decent. The room was clean and comfy. Free breakfast included.

SloveniaParking spaces are very limited but this the case for all of Pag. Staff and neighbours to the hotel are super friendly in assisting with finding parking and offering help to get in and out of tight spaces. Parking is free, no suprises/extra charges. WiFi was a little weak in the room but had data so was ok. Who goes on a holiday for WiFi anyway.. Go to the beach across the road and leave your phone behind :)
Great friendly staff, feels like home, great location, delicious food and good value for money. Sunset view from the pool that's open 24 hours! Good recommendations on what to see in Croatia from staff. Peaceful location but only 30 minutes from Novalja if you're looking to party. Free postcards as a parting gift (really nice touch)

ItalyNothing, considering the price and the hotel being a 3 star, this place is almost perfect.
Location is perfect with an amazing view on the bay (every day there is a beautiful sunset to look at). Staff is kind and always available. Rooms are clean with a spacious balcony. Breakfast and food are yummy (I was very surprised by the risotto at frutti di mare).

Italy• Complete disregard for Covid-19 rules, even the most basic ones. It can be shocking for tourists coming from western European countries. No one ever wears face masks, neither the staff nor the other customers, even indoors. Tables are not properly sanitized. At breakfast, food and cutlery are provided in communal containers that are touched by everyone. We strongly recommend the staff to improve these aspects.
• Very nice location on a hillside by the sea, 10 minutes walk from the center of Pag • Amazing view from our room balcony, high above the sea • Most members of the staff were warm and welcoming. Some of them were outstanding. They were so nice and hospitable that even offered us a local spirit as a welcome drink.
