“The hotel itself was lovely in a beautiful location right on the waterfront. We stayed in the annex directly behind the hotel. While the annex was lovely in itself and perfectly clean we felt very much dislocated from the hotel and its facilities. All of the staff were really friendly, the breakfast lady and the evening waiter were especially brilliant. We ate at the restaurant on two nights opting for a simple supper of drinks and salad (delicious food albeit a bit on the pricy side) and it was no problem for us to sit at a non restaurant table (no tablecloths and wine glasses etc) we were served efficiently and really enjoyed whiling away our time overlooking the beautiful bay.”
