In addition to being a beautiful hotel/hostel, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the staff was always on site cleaning. The breakfast that was included was perfect and the coffee shop/bar was very convenient. They also offered onsite laundry services with a 24 hr turnaround, amazing! Overall great experience and would choose Ojalá again in the future.

Very thin walls so in the rooms you can hear the neighbours very good.

We had an incredible stay at Hostel Ojalá in Antigua—one of the best hostels we've ever experienced! The place is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. As three friends, we stayed in a cozy 4-bed dorm, and it was perfect for us. The bathrooms are separate, but you can use the entire bathroom for yourself, which is awesome, and the shower was great! The garden was lush and green, with nice spaces to sit and do some laptop work. The included breakfast was fantastic, with a selection of three options, all great for a hostel breakfast. The hostel also offers free water and good Wi-Fi. During the low season, the vibe was very chill—perfect for relaxing but maybe not the best place to meet new people and party. If you're looking for a relaxed and cozy time in Antigua, this is your place! Really, one of my favorite hostels ever. Highly recommend!

Very nice accommodation, it was very clean and the staff were very friendly! Highly recommended! The hostel is located in the middle of the center of Antigua so everything is on walking distance. The bathrooms are very clean and the rooms get cleaned everyday. The beds are very comfortable.

The prettiest hostel I have ever stayed at! Super clean, location central in Antigua and very helpful and friendly staff. It‘s not a party hostel tho but rather quiet. Breakfast was very good!

The interior was beautiful with two interior gardens and lots of hammocks to chill in. The rooms were super clean with working showers and hot water. Also free water at the hostel. Breakfasts were also good with unlimited coffee. They also helped me book my airport shuttle

Amazing property. Staff were so friendly and helpful, allowed for late check out and was clean. Only downside were the beds were a bit uncomfortable, otherwise 10/10!

Beds were hard. No AC for the warm nights which is common I believe. They also have upcharge the conversion so you pay way more at the hotel than the price you booked for

For breakfast you only get to choose from the same three options daily. Coffee is free but watered down. It is very centrally located

The rooms aren’t very soundproof (could hear normal volume conversations from next door). It wasn’t an issue for us but maybe bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Ojala was a great base for our stay in Antigua. The room was stylish and comfortable and the staff were really helpful. The free breakfast was very yummy!

They only have 2 bathrooms with showers that are shared by 3 4-person dorms and the 8-person dorm. It is technically enough, but in the mornings you have to wait in line to take a shower. It is a very minimal issue, but of course having 1-2 showers would easily solve this problem although I know it can be hard to add plumbing to these older infrastructures.

Stayed in a 4-person dorm and the beds were super comfortable and the privacy curtains did their job. The place has two courtyards, the 4-person dorms are in the lower floor in the back and share a courtyard with the private rooms which are located on the upper floor and the ground floor as well. The front courtyard has access to the 8-person dorm which also is where the main entrance and coffee/bar is located. Both courtyards are gorgeous and the grounds are well kept with beautiful purple flower petals laying on the ground in the rear courtyard. I found the Wi-Fi to be really good and I was able to get a lot of work done since the place is really quiet and peaceful. The breakfast that comes with the dorm stay is incredible! I didn't try the pancakes but I loved the muesli and the eggs with tomato/onions and beans on the side. Everything was fresh and freshly made. The bathrooms were super nice, well-designed, and very clean (I am a stickler for bathrooms). I couldn't be happier with my dorm stay here!

Breakfast was fantastic, I had the pancakes and it was a generous portion and very tasty. Also, we had an issue with our bags being lost at the airport and staff were very helpful in keeping an eye out for them turning up.

This is a truly beautiful colonial house close to Antigua's main plaza, featuring stunning backyards. The staff is delightful, and breakfast is delicious.
