There was this smell of dampness in the room. It came mostly from the bathroom. And the natural lighting was not that great! The size of the room can be a little bigger.

Amazing location! 3-5 mins walk from the central park. Many restuarant nearby. The staff was very helpful and kind to us. The kitchen was super clean at all times. Nice terrace!

Excellent location, easy walk to the plaza. Quiet, with only a few rooms. We had a private room with private bath, it was small but adequate. Great WIFI and a TV with Netflix! Liked that we could have used the cooking facilities at the upstairs covered patio. Changed my mind about staying at a hostel! Would totally stay there again.

Generally all good.

Overall a good base for a busy solo traveller going from tour to tour in Antigua and nearby villages. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with any questions I had. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable . The staff even kept asking if I wanted to have the room cleaned up everyday, which is fine by me.

Private room small and priced rather high for facilities. Nicer rooms available in cheaper hotels if you do not need kitchen facility.

Perfect location near main square, but quiet. Helpful friendly staff. Older type hostel, worn and basic but clean. Quiet for the 3 days I stayed. Didn’t use kitchen. Excellent WiFi, did not drop out once during my stay.

I'm not used to share room but in this case I did and everything was fine. I liked that they hold my small backpack while I was hiking the Acatenango volcano. They only charged me a small amount of Q5 which is less than 1 USD.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in the dorm - but the privates look very decent too! Really good location! It is central enough that everything is walking distance but just on the outskirts of all the hustle and bustle - so it is quiet. The staff here were always pleasant to chat with and are always willing to help with any Q’s. They provide a towel and were able to give extra blanket when it got cold during the night. Facilities are always clean as they clean it every day. Wifi works fast and well. Solid kitchen - just have to bring your own herbs/spices/oil. Cute upstairs terrace to eat and relax on. Bonus: they have 2 cute friendly dogs as well!

Their transportation service did not pick us up from the airport. Ended up taking a taxi at 2:30am.

Night porter wasn’t friendly said come back after 3pm We arrived at 6am No earlier check in even though we left at 3.30 am on leaving. so some rooms can get done early. But night porter did come out to our leaving transfer with something I had left behind

Quite we didn’t have any noise guests. Great location 2 blocks from the Square. Comfortable bed. 2 Lovely dog which also acted as security. Lovely roof top area with tables chairs kitchen with fridge microwave multi oven, stove and lots of pots cups etc.

I liked it over all but it would be nice if they have so hammocks in the kitchen area just to chill there and do nothing. I also missed I little light on my bed , but I have a camping light so I figured out.

I liked the hot shower , best I have so far. I also liked the cortains in the bed so I did not have to socialize if I did not feel like. I liked the location and also I liked the kitchen upstairs. I also enjoyed the quiet time early to rest.

The bed was not comfortable. You can't smoke at all at the hostal and there arent many places to seat in the hostal.

The staff were very nice and the place was constantly cleaned. Nice kitchen and I liked the fact the have curtains for the bed, it creats privacy.

The WiFi connection was really unstable. The room doesn't have a window only in the door, so it's made a really bad small if you don't open the door.

Beds are ok, but since the rooms are on a long hall the noise goes straight into the room. Unfortunately some guest do not respect quiet hours and they are not told to keep the noise down.

The location is perfect, the staff is super nice and they have three beautiful and sweet dogs. Hot water and very clean.
