Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyCheck-in was not smooth, host reached us by booking.com for the check-in instructions prior to our arrival. But when we got there, we saw that there are several rooms/apartments and we didn't know which one should we check-in. Thankfully we were able to reach the host by whatsapp, but the reserved studio for us was already taken by someone else and there were people inside the studio ! Then the host let us to stay the nextdoor studio which was not we booked and bigger than the studio that we book. It went well in the end but was a bit creepy during check-in by seeing someone else was already in your room.
Great view with a good shared terrace in front of your apartment. All the kitchen and bathroom amenities was in place. walking distance to the new port.

AustraliaFairly steep driveway. Google maps can lead you astray. I was told by the property manager about this before the stay. But I was lazy and didn’t read the messages properly. Don’t trust google maps and read messages.
Very neat and tidy apartment with a great view. Unit was very well fitted out. Quite large with plenty of space. Very nice deck area and seating out the front to watch the boats coming and going and have a drink on. Staff were great and gave us washing powder so we could wash our clothes and were happy to help with taxi info/numbers etc. Washing machine in unit. Reading material in unit about Mykonos and Petros the pelican. Could easily walk to the port and catch the water taxi into town for 2 Euro. Easy to catch a taxi from nearby. Cost was very reasonable.

RomaniaI would have expected it to be much cleaner, with more upgraded furniture. when we arrived at the location, it was still being cleaned and, although it was obvious that we had a 4-year-old dwarf with us, the cleaning left much to be desired: we put the mop to clean the lint and dust from under the bed, we washed the dishes and some glasses that we can use (actually bent), I cleaned the kitchen counter which was sticky. We understand perfectly that the high degree of humidity does not help, but a clean place is easily recognized. Or here, the beds on the sofas in the living room - white by the way - left a lot to be desired and we had to shake them ourselves and remove the dust from under them, left by other guests. I found it very disrespectful as well to leave open food packages and open drinks in the fridge for the new guests (we found a package of cheese and half a bottle of juice)
The view from the terrace and the convenient distance to the port.

IsraelWhen we arrived, we didn't know which room was ours, and the owner was not there. The place is located on a high hill, so it was pretty hard to go up there every time we went back. The location was good for us, as we wanted to be near the new port, but it is not a good location for those who want to be near the center. In addition, there were very nice and quite (and free) beaches at this area.
The apartment is very big and has all the needed facilities. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There is a box of toys, which was very much in use by our boy. There is a huge balcony with a view of the sea.

United StatesThere was a musty/moldy smell in the apartment. Our family is sensitive to mold and we have allergies so that was a bit of a challenge.
Location was highly convenient. The apartment was really cute and spacious too. Natascha is an excellent hostess. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She even held our luggage until our driver arrived to pick us up to take us to Anamela.

New ZealandAccess isn’t super easy with the steep driveway so if you have mobility issues this place wouldn’t be suitable. If your fit and mobile though it’s worth it for the view!

GermanyThere are not sidewalks to get there so definitely is not that easy to go by bus or ferry. The beds were not that comfortable. It's just in front of the port for cruise ships so at night there is a lot of noise and at docking time. Other rooms were occupied by couples with kids so I was glad I took my own earplugs to sleep. I guess this can be improved by giving earplugs and specifying guests the house rules.
It look pretty cozy, like a summer house. Place was clean, kitchen well equipped and Natasha was super friendly

United KingdomThe Road up to the Guest house was very steep and difficult to walk with a back pack. Even though the port is only a short distance, I would advise to get a taxi. The Balcony, whilst very large with good views, is shared.
Big spacious rooms, very homely, lots of extras provided, i.e. Coffee/Tea /Sugar, Condiments, Cleaning products etc. The staff were very friendly. Great views of the Port and surrounding area, and Mykonos Town.

AustraliaAccess issues per previous review. Communication in general. I think the owners of this property need to have a serious think about customer service. I’ve stayed in lots of family run places in many Greek islands and up until now have been more than happy. This was seriously disappointing
See review about our one night stay on 8 June. A different lady was there when we arrived. She spoke very little English but was obviously keen to show us that everything was clean, which it was. We checked the coffee machine which was fine now and told her through mostly sign language about the mouldy filters from before. We got the impression she was not surprised about our previous experience. The supplies had been replenished.

United KingdomThere is a very steep hill to climb to get to the property and getting down the hill in ordinary sandals felt a little precarious
The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming The apartment was beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony was lovely. The bed was comfortable and there were basic kitchen facilities if you felt to use them. The place was quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the old port. It was perfectly placed to stay at one night before taking a ferry to other islands

LithuaniaIt's 20 min away by foot from mykonos old Town, that's not a problem but you have to walk on a main street without pedestrian way.
We had stayed for 3 nights, and had a wonderful time. Very comfy room, good mattresses, plenty of space, very clean, everything you need to cook was available and we even got some wine from the house. Natasha and Cristina were always available and with a great disposition. Very nice views of the sunset from the terrace. There's a very nice beach 10 min away by foot. The new port it's just 2 min away and minimarket and some restaurants too. It's a good place to relax. Bus stop just steps away. Would stay there again without doubt. Good value for money.
