Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SerbiaIt happened only once, but one evening, around midnight there was no hot water in the bathroom, but that isolated incident did not spoil my overall impression of the facility
Very peaceful and quiet place to stay. About 6 minutes of driving away from the city center. Room and furniture were not exactly new but had all that one person need on summer vacation at sea. My room was cleaned every day. Very friendly and polite staff. The object has big yard with a lot of space for cars to be parked in the shade so anytime I got in my car it was never hot inside. I would recommend this place to all Lefkada visitors.

BulgariaWe really appreciated the staff. One thing to remember is that after asking the housekeeper where can we buy fresh fish, he decided to take us to a local fisherman and help us to choose the 🐠. After that he helped us grilled it and it was just perfect! We had really great time and will certainly visit Villa Fenia again😁

RomaniaThe room facilities seem outdated, but for the price I shouldn't be complaining.
The garden is beautifully well kept. The location with respect to the city and nearby beaches is ideal. The staff is friendly and quick to help if you are in need.

Czech RepublicVery cosy and clean accomodation with a nice view from a balcony. Nets against insects were also priceless. Mr. Vasilis as a host was amazing. Besides his friendly nature, he was very helpful and kind. He even took us to a supermarket meanwhile our room was still preparing for our stay (due to our early flight). Thousands of thanks!

North MacedoniaThe accommodation is close to the beach, but a little further from the town, being reached through narrow streets. The garden was very nice and we had daily cleaning of the room. There is a good parking lot with shade, and also the host and staff were very nice and helpful.

UkraineI'd say the mattress was a little to soft for us but that's because Im used to sleep on the harder one I guess.
The owner Vasilius is a very cute old man that was very nice to us, he agreed to receive us very late because of our late flight. The apartment has good location and parking. The room also had both air-conditioning and ventilator.

GermanyThe bathroom could get a renovation.
It was a very quiet location with a beautiful garden and nice views to the monastery as well as the sea from my 2nd floor room. The owner and service was very friendly and helpful. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the sea through a beautiful boutique hotels and olive gardens area which I enjoyed a lot. The sea was beautiful and rather quit even end of Aug. and there where nice restaurants where you could start your day with a seaside breakfast after your morning swim. Same for lunch & dinner. A walk to the city is 30 min. Taxi costs 10€ each way. In the beginning I was sorry that I did not book a car or scooter but in the end i was happy as I was forced to take really nice walks. Great price for value. I stayed 3 days / 2 nights.

Romania- No proximity to any restaurants, supermarkets or city. Going into the city from there costs you 20e/day by taxi. Alternatively you can rent a bycicle for 10e/day from the location, but it's still expensive since it's just a bike and the town is about 34 minute walking distance away and you don't want to go with bike in the scorching sun. All roads here are designed only for vehicle use. - The only place(s) you can eat from are locations near the beach (11 mins walking distance), so if you need food or water you need to stock up every time you go to the beach. There are no buses to move around, you can ultimately rent a bike but you need the licence, and they don't rent Quads for people who have a car driver licence. - The "don't throw paper inside the toilet" thing, but i guess it's the same all over in Greece, or is it? - Kitchen had no sugar, so your first coffee is sugarless, unless you want to spend 20e to get to the town to get some. Have fun contacting a local taxi businss none of them are nice and generally make their living having bad manners and juicing tourists. - The caretaker's english is basic, so don't count on receiving tips on how and where to move around, or anything beyond basic. There is a bus in Lefkada town that moves to Nidry for boat cruises, but i had to work to find that out. - There are no places to store your clothing, so most of them stay inside the bag. Tips for the property on how to improve: - Let people know it's recommended to have a car for this booking, otherwise make sure all the drawbacks are presented - Provide sugar and salt in rooms - Stop charging for bycicle rent for people with no car, they should be free given how remote the location is, and i'm sure they can't cost you that much, most tourists come here to relax not to ruin hardware. - Convert the suit wardrobe into a clothes one (add planks) , nobody uses thoses in a beach vacation.
- Close to Agio Ioannis beach - Terrace was good - Administrator is nice
