Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RussiaThe location is superb — the beach is just 10 minutes away. Also, there's a nice tavern in the village nearby and a supermarket just round the corner. You don't need a car or a scooter to get there.

United KingdomWe stayed at Villa Myrto for 10 days in July. The property is located a short distance from the beautiful beach of Myrtiotissa and a short drive from Glyfada. Easily accessible by car, just under half an hour drive from the airport and Corfu town, an ideal base for exploring the island. Our studio was on the ground floor and was equipped with a kitchenette, terrace, balcony, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, refrigerator, was simply furnished and very clean. The main attraction was the outdoor swimming pool with pool bar and amazing views of the mountains. Rali, the owner of Villa Myrto, made our stay really special by offering advise and fulfilling all our needs. Thank you Rali for egg cups, we really appreciated them! We recommend Villa Myrto for couples and families alike. We will come back!

United KingdomTV did not work (not a problem for us) Take your own toiletries as these are not supplied
Location was great as we were travelling by coach (Green Bus B17 from Main Bus Station in Corfu Town) and the bus stopped right outside the villa. Villa is just a 15 minute walk to Mirtiotissa Beach (25 minutes uphill on way back!) and either 35 minutes to Glyfada Beach or 20 minutes if using the Mountain Trail (take walking shoes!) Supermarket is within a 5 minutes walk and the local Taverna just 10 minutes. Room was spotless with basic cooking facilities and the host was extremely helpful and flexible (we were able to check in early with no problems) We found the property great value for money and we look forward to our return next year.

PolandThis place is really nice. The surroundings are beautiful, rooms have everything you might need. It is located in a quiet area walking distance from the beautiful Mertitiossa beach. If you have a car it is centrally located, close to everywhere, if not the green bus stops in front of the building! If you want to escape the city and relax that is a perfect choice. We noticed that most of the guests were returning ones. The owner is accommodating and if only possible she will help you with everything. We can recommend Villa Myrto.

ItalyI am so happy to have found such a perfect place! Rali was so kind and helpful, she made us feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are so comfortable and the area is so peaceful! Relax… that is what I needed and what I found. Pelekas is strategic as a location, close to Corfu airport and town… we visited the entire island… north to south. The beach Glyfada is 5 min from Myrto Villa and is probably one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I can’t wait to come back!!!!

United StatesKeep looking. We booked for three nights, but left after two, forfeiting our third night's cost. This property listed a swimming pool, bar, convienence store, and a restaurant, none of which were operating. The owner seemed nice enough, but when we arrived tired and wanting to rest after a full day on this stage of through hiking the Corfu Trail, she and her sister spent about an hour complaining to us about how hard it was to find help or contractors. The kitchen did not have adequate items to minimally cook or clean with, and when my husband asked for soap and a sponge to wash the dirty plates and glasses before we used them, he was told "Whatever you need, you can go to the mini market down the street." He was finally given just enough soap and a used sponge to clean the dishes. The shower head leaked and sprayed all over, and the toilet valve made an awful noise when flushed, if it flushed at all. The owner was difficult to find, and when we did find her, her sister said whatever it was could wait as they were on their way to church. Twice. This could be a very nice property as the location is ideal, and the grounds are pretty for a getaway or a stopover on the trail, if it had been managed well, and had the amenities it said it did. We chose it hoping for a place to relax and spend Easter in Corfu before continuing on the trail. As a side note, we were the only ones at the property.

Great location set in peaceful olive groves with views of rolling hills . There is a shop and 2 very good tavernas in walking distance, otherwise you really need your own transportation - scooter or car. Owners are friendly and helpful Pool area is very nice

IsraelThe stay at Villa Myrto was a total disappointment, there were none of the conveniences promised in the booking site. The furnishings are all cheap plastic, nothing remotely like the images published in the site, don't expect soap, shampoo let alone flowers or any other amenities that can been seen in the photographs of the rooms (we stayed at room 14 - corner) there was nothing in the room remotely welcoming. All the same we decided to give it a try both due to the location and the apparent pleasantness of the host. On day three we asked for a broom to clean the room and things just went down from there. Rali (the owner) was extremely rude to us, to the degree that the very same evening we messaged her our intent to checkout the following morning. We left the place 4 days prior to our intended checkout (being charged the full amount minutes after sending out checkout message) This site is more akin a cheap youth hostel than so called villa.
The location is fantastic, great mountain view, the Villa has a lovely olive Grove albeit an untended garden. The pool is great for a dip to cool off after a long day
