A genuinely fantastic place to stay, the house itself is beautiful, spacious and as picturesque as the town itself. It is also perfectly clean, with all the amenities you could possibly need, and very well stocked! The garden is also great; rest under the shade of lemon trees and grape vines or in the jacuzzi, which is just a cherry on top. Dimitris, Alexandra and Vasiliki are exceptional hosts and so generous, they picked us up from the port, provided well curated and useful information about the island, on top of which we were greeted with so much delicious homemade food that we didn't have to buy breakfast or lunch even once! They also dropped us off at the port after our stay. The family clearly love to host and are really very good at it. We could not possibly have asked for a better experience. Syros itself is a lovely and lively place, with plenty to do and see in the main city, as well as up in Ano Syros, and be sure to visit some of the beaches on the other side of the island to get the most of it, Kini is especially good. P.S. We don't usually get food from the same place twice but broke that rule for Giancarlo Pizza which is just a short walk from the house and so delicious! All in all this was definitely our favourite stop in Greece. μπράβο στην οικογένεια!

We enjoyed all. There are stairs so learn your best route up and down (zig zag) but incredible views, easy walks, beautiful.

The reception upon arrival was excellent! We were greeted at the port and taken to our accommodations. We met the owner’s family that were beyond lovely and welcoming. The food presented to us was delicious and a surprise birthday cake, too. They thought of everything! Most comfortable beds in Greece!!!!

We had an Incredibly welcoming reception from Dimitris and his family. We arrived to a fridge full of essentials and we were barely able to fit all of the amazing homemade food they made for us. They were so responsive and helpful as well. They made us feel like family.

There is nothing I didn't like.

There are no words to describe this experience but I will do my very best. This was my first international stay. During my time in Greece I have stayed at 3 locations so I definitely have something to compare this place too. The owners will greet you and treat you as if you are their family. They go above and beyond from the very beginning to make sure your stay is everything you want and more from the time you get off the ferry to the time you leave. Once you stay at this house you will not want to stay anywhere else. The location is close to many things. You will need a rental to explore the island. You will not regret it. I promise.

Nothing.Some people should need taxi for return from the center but it was a good think for us.After long meal we walked through narrow street and we. watched the view ,

wonderful hospitality,amazing view,perfect location. We lived like locals and definitly we are going to come back for a longer stay. Beautiful and relaxing garden and jacuzzi are extra facility especially after long beach day. Veranda team was exeptional.They were thinking all are needs and they were so organize. Thank you guys. Wonderful location with a great view. Dimitris, Alexandra and Vasiliki were great hosts, picking us up from the port and dropping us off at the end. They supplied us with more food than we could eat and were lovely people. We had a great time and highly recommend Syros and this property.

The host's hospitality was top-notch! Very friendly and nice. The house and garden were beautiful 😍 really enjoyed seeing the sunrise and sunset from the veranda. The view is phenomenal. The kitchen was fully stocked and the owners made a lovely spread of dishes and sweets. The jacuzzi was a relaxing highlight of our stay.

Amazing!!! Our stay at Verada Syros House will be unforgettable! We felt like in a luxury five-star hotel - super clean, fantastic view and a wonderful garden. Vasiliki and Alexandra took great care of us in every way. They prepared not only a rich and delicious breakfast but also served us handmade, very tasteful sweets as well as traditional food. We give Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitri as well as their mansion a ten with a star. I wish there was a higher rating, these lovely hosts deserve the best.

Nothing! We loved everything! It’s worth noting that Syros has lots of steps but we managed just fine with a baby and a 3 year old however something to consider if your mobility is limited.

The property was spotless. Very clean, spacious and multiple areas to relax and enjoy the stunning views including the balcony, garden & hot tub. You can see Mykonos, Paros & Naxos from the balcony on a clear day. The property is in a lovely quiet area of Hermoupolis, a short walk from town with plenty of great restaurants, boutique shops and supermarket. The beaches are easily accessible by both taxi & bus. It was just perfect.

Our stay was unique. The greek hospitality was awesome. The house is lovely furnished, the garden with the jacuzzi and a stunning view is the highlight for sure. We got plenty of tips what to do on the island and had a really great time.

WONDERFUL HOSTS, Huge House in the most important location OF SYROS with a wonderful view. Very very clean Large quantities of toilet products towels bathrobes, slippers. FIRST TIME IN A HOUSE RENTING that there was a fridge really full OF EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, A table layed WITH SWEETS, PIES, CAKES, DIPS THERE WERE ALSO TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS OF SYROS FRUITS, VEGETABLES++++++++++++Τhe owner picked us up and took us to the port.and every day we were treated to new dishes.I have never seen such offers and care

Great views from terrace come with lots of steps to get down to town.centre.No issue for youngsters but we are an older couple.There are many low cost taxis in town so we walked down and got a taxi back each day so it was not a problem

The food provided was astounding in both quantity and quality.We could have eaten all week without leaving the house.House was spotlessly clean with loads of equipment.

I cannot think of a single point that bothered me, not even a small one.

There are not enough stars available on booking to express how we enjoyed Veranda Syros! Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitris are the nicest, friendliest, caring people! We were so impressed about how much work and soul they invest in creating the perfect conditions for the guests to have a memorable stay in Syros. We were presented the whole area and were given a lot of options on what to see and do and where to eat. The accommodation is fitted with everything you need and beyond, the host thought about every single detail you might think of. The apartment is very spacious and clean and besides the lovely balcony with a marvelous view you can also enjoy a cozy, green oasis with a whirlpool (which, by the way, is checked every day by the host)...just for you! Dimitris picked us up from the ferry port upon arrival and dropped us there on our departure day, so the stress of transportation planing was taken care of. The breakfast was just jaw dropping, so much home made food, so delicious, fresh fruit, vegetables, it was a highlight. Plus we were spoiled continuously with fresh baked home goodies, too bad we don't have more spacious stomachs. We have never experienced before such a warm welcome, we knew immediately that our days in Veranda Syros will be great and they were! We definitely recommend Veranda and would love to go back some day. Thank you Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitris for everything. You are all lovely people to be around!

Verand Syros is a spacious, clean and well equipped accommodation. The hosts were extremely helpful, gentle, hospitable and eager to help at anything we needed. Alexandra, who is a wonderful cook, was kind enough to provided us with delicious sweets and tasty food, Dimitris was very kind to collect us from and drive us back to the port and Vasiliki, the sweet and hospitable daughter, was eager to help at any of our needs. This was really a homeric hospitality. There is a veranda with wonderful views of the sea, where we could enjoy splendid evening relaxation. There is also a lovely separate garden with jaccuzi. We enjoyed the most pleasant stay. We highly recommend it.

The family that own the property are exceptionally friendly. I love this town and swimming in the ocean every day. Walking around and visiting the harbour. We were very well looked after with regard to food and my only regret is that we couldnt try all the delectable Greek treats that they left for us. Thankyou very much for that. The view from the balcony is very special. Book this place you will not regret it. I almost must make a special thanks for receiving us one year after our booking as we were unable to travel due to COVID rules.

Veranda house is beautiful. It exceeded all our expectations. Location easy to get everywhere, with a fantastic views of town. Communication with the host was super easy all the time. Parking was easy to find next to the house. Dimitris, Alexandra and Vasso were the best hosts. Homemade food they provided was excellent. Thank you again for hosting us, we will be back!

We loved everything about this place.

We had an amazing stay at Veranda Syros. The hosts go out of their way to make everything comfortable, delicious and give you that “home away from home” feeling. The view is spectacular from the veranda - we are going to miss having that fantastic homemade breakfast every morning out on the porch. The family had thought of everything for us, and was just the best with our little son. So amazing. We will have to come back.

The host family was very friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the ferry port on arrival and took us back there on departure (much appreciated free transfers eliminating some steep hill climbs with our luggage). The house is spacious and has fantastic views of the harbour and old town, although the furnishings are not our taste (older style, not modern) but it certainly contributes to the character and charm of the house. Despite being located on a steep hill behind the old town centre, the house is within easy walking distance of the main hub (about 200m). The balcony and private garden with jacuzzi was special with great views of the ocean. The family spoiled us with an abundance of food, way more than we could ever eat, specially made for us with care and pride. Veranda House Syros made a lasting impression on us.
