Very friendly owner and staff. We had a problem with A/C in our room on our arrival, and they immediately offered us a different room. The beach was amazing, sundbeds were free and comfortable. The location of Venus is away from crowds and any villages, but this is exactly what we were looking for. Have in mind that the closest shops are like 25 min driving by car 😉

Lovely stay at Venus rooms. Anna is super kind and warm we felt welcome immediately. The room is clean, comfortable, great view and good breakfast. 3mn walking from the beautiful Manganari beach. Very quiet. We had dinners at Venus restaurant as well and it was delicious, Anna’s husband is a great fish cook 😊 Thank you for everything we hope to come back

Location, location, location! It was great! The balcony was roomy, they had heat! showers nice, bed great! The beach and the water were amazing. The only place on my trip to Greece where I could actually get in the not so cold water. It is amazing. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff were stellar! Room was exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautiful. Would like to return again and again!

Just a small suggestion to change the mattress (too soft for aging backs :-))

The location is remote and very quiet with a beautiful beach equipped with umbrellas and beds, also managed by venus rooms. The restaurant serves very nice local food and breakfast is generous. If you want to relax by the beach for a few days and be pampered by the staff of venus rooms, then that's the place for you.

Not a criticism but just to be aware there isn’t a shop or other restaurants near so make sure you have all you need with you and are happy to eat at the on-site restaurant every day (it’s really good so we didn’t find that a problem at all)!

A really friendly team who are welcoming and helpful. Beautiful setting, only a minutes walk to a lovely beach which has crystal clear water. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. The restaurant has really tasty options for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hotel picked us up and dropped us off to the port and also took us into Chora where the main town is. The room is really clean and comfortable and was cleaned every day during our stay.

That we weren’t staying longer!

We took advantage of the shuttle service from the port which was very good. We arrived at the accommodation and were gives the warmest welcome from all the family. The room was lovely with some nice little touches. The bed was very comfortable. We had a large balcony/terrace which we were delighted with. The restaurant served good food and drinks and all of the staff were very attentive. The beach was amazing and the sea was warm and crystal clear. We will definitely be returning.

After a miserable night being awakened at 2am by partiers above us at the Far Out Beach Club hotel my husband and I sought respite at Venus rooms on the opposite side of Ios island. Upon check-in we were warmly welcomed by Alexandra, the hotel house keeper and her boss, the hotel owner. It was nice to support a local Greek islander's business. Alexandra showed us to our tidy room and presented us with a small bottle of homemade spiced brandy. The bed and room were quite comfortable - we slept quite. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel (Venus restaurant) was fully packed with French and Italian daytrippers who had come by bus in the morning. Surprisingly few people were booked at the quaint, comfortable hotel. By early evening the daytrippers left, transforming the restaurant into a quiet, romantic place for dinner. As there are only two restaurants in the vincinity we chose to eat at Venus for every meal. The menu was changed every few days to offer new variety - from Greek specialties like grilled octopus and fava to Italian pasta dishes. Every meal was delicious with gorgeous views of the crystalline blue waters of Manganari beach. (We particularly enjoyed the fabulous breakfast spread of local cheeses, jams, Greek specialties and French crepes/croissants). When server, Alex discovered that my husband spoke Russian they became quite chatty. Alex filled us with insights to the island locals. The owner's brother, Ilias gave us a ride back to port when we checked out, telling us of local legends and traditions along the drive.  Ilias stopped en route at a local history museum and gave us a free tour. All in all, our stay at Venus rooms in Manganari beach was the most relaxing few days of our entire trip! We look forward to returning.

Loved everything.

I really enjoyed my holiday at Venus rooms. The room was clean and quiet - and the bed comfortable. The dining area, which is right on the beach, is beautifully designed - and the meals are exceptional - especially the lavish buffet breakfast. There are many beautiful beaches at your doorstep - and the owners and staff are all friendly, helpful and kind. Many thanks to all the team at Venus for such a relaxing few days. Highly recommended.
