Our flight arrived late and upon arrival they had the room and dinner ready for us. The food was a traditional Greek dinner and was delicious. We loved the country environment while only being about 10-15 minutes from airport. Clean and so friendly!! Would definitely stay here again! We appreciated them having shuttles set up to pick us up from airport and to take us back the next day. It made things very convenient.

We chose this as an overnight stopover near the airport. For us much more enjoyable than a large airport hotel. The optional meal was excellent and would definitely stay again if neeidng an airport stopver in Athens.

Sweet, comfortable place to stay — I had one night in Athens before my flight home, this was the perfect place to stay. I slept well, the shower and bathroom were updated and luxurious, everything I needed to make coffee in the morning. And definitely sign up for dinner — so so fresh and delicious. I wish I hadn’t had to leave so early, I bet breakfast was great too.

We loved everything about Varaba Country House. The property has a beautiful rustic charm, the rooms are big and spacious and Nikolia made us the most beautiful home-cooked meal, perfect for our last night in Greece.

Everything. The host, Claudine is an amazing cook and took care with my special meal restrictions. The place is divine. Will Def tell my friends and family to go there when needing to be near airport. I absolutely loved this place.

I got bitten by mosquitoes, but I cant blame the accommodat5ion for that I should have worn a repelant as we were sitting in a garden with bushes and trees

Remoteness was difficult for taxi.

Loved the working olive and pistachio trees—-the rural setting was perfect for our last night in Greece.

The room was lovely as was the bathroom, so big and spacious. The home-cooked dinner was superb. it was a quick stay for us as we were flying out early the next morning, so it was perfect. They also arranged an early morning transfer to the airport.

Nothing not to like...but if you are hoping for any nearby amenities then this may not be the place for you. It is surrounded by farmland and pistachio trees. Which we liked!

Great accommodation in a quiet rural location an easy taxi ride from the airport. Comfortable good sized rooms and shared living space with the option of evening meals and breakfast. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.

My flight got in very late and I had to leave very early the next morning for another flight. My host made sure I had transportation to and from the airport on both ends, and that I got my key to my room without issue. It was close to the airport, which is exactly what I needed for the few hours I had between my flights. The room was perfect for my crazy itinerary.

It was a little tricky to find but offered everything we needed!

This was the perfect stay for 1 night before heading to Crete. It functioned very much like a bed and breakfast and we had such a nice time. The hosts were incredibly gracious and made sure we felt very welcome. They prepared us an amazing dinner and also were able to accommodate a bit earlier breakfast because of our flight time. The room was perfect for the 3 of us and we got a good nights sleep. They also helped arrange taxi pick up and drop off services from the Athens airport, which is close by. The drivers were great.

We had a quick stay with a late flight back into Athens before our departure home the next day. The property is close to the airport and conveniently provided seemless transportation to and from the airport. The staff was also absolutely amazing. Our flight into Athens was delayed, so they stayed a little late to ensure we were able to get a meal that evening. Very kind and considerate.

I was looking for a room close to Athens Airport and Varaba Country House was amazing. It is only 10 minutes from the airport, they organised a driver for us for a reasonable price to pick us up and drop us back for our flight out the next day. We had a relaxing afternoon sitting on the patio and then enjoyed an excellent home cooked Greek dinner. The hosts are wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was also lovely on the patio in the morning.

Noise — it is very close to the airport runways with planes landing and taking off till midnight, and starting again before 6 in the morning; there are stray dogs in the fields that bark at all hours; the walls are quite thin and you can hear the other guests.

Pretty and small hotel in the middle of fields of grapevines and olive trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well-equipped rooms with comfortable bed. Excellent dinner at reasonable price.

Although the airport transfers were great, I wish they were a little less expensive. (They were 25 euros each way.)

Nicolia was excellent in communicating and responding to questions. They made the airport transfers very easy and worry free. The quiet country place was exactly what we needed after a long flight with jet lag. Dinner was excellent and very reasonable cost.
