Beautiful studio room , spotlessly clean , modern contemporary design and perfect hosts . Lovely family very welcoming including the family dog . Great location and perfect base would definitely recommend this place we will return - a hidden gem thank you !

The apartment Vabel SkIathos was very clean, fresh and new and was well laid out. It had a wonderful outside area to sit comfortably in. It was family run and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

It is a bit of a tight street until you reach the apartment.

Lovely, well designed and furnished apartment with nice, large, shaded terrace close to the Skiathos town. Apartment is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The location is about 15 minutes walking distance to old Skiathos town and apart from occasional jet engine noise from airplanes taking off from the nearby airport, it is really quiet. (you will be on the beach anyway during the day and planes don't land or takeoff after 10pm)

Friendliest hosts ever, spotless place, quiet location. Two supermarkets and a bakery nearby. Alternative walking route to port/center takes approx. 5 min longer but is quiet and off main road (Google Maps: Vabel-Old Port, add via Little Indian Restaurant).

If I was being really picky the only negative would be the cooking facilities, they are very minimal.

The duplex apartments are excellent, they are comfortable and are cleaned daily. The family that run the apartments all work very hard to ensure that the guests have a great experience. The property is about 10 minutes walk from town and a two minute walk from an excellent bakery and 5 minutes to a decent supermarket. The bed was very comfortable too.

Arrived late at night, very stressed and tired after a long day, I was met and warmly welcomed by kind Valentina. With one day to spend in Skiathos before traveling on Valentina was a wonderful source of information on how to spend the day. Although not in the busy centre of the Port Vabel Skiathos was an easy walk to reach it.

The room was very new and super clean and it also had a nice patio where we could have breakfast, with a view to the very nice garden. There is some noise from the street during the night if you keep the windows open, but this is something we found very common and unavoidable on these islands, and it is usually due to the very noisy scooters which are very popular. The location a bit away from the center of town, but it is a short walk, albeit not particularly scenic. However it is very easily accessible by car (parking is available) and it is very close to a bakery, as well as a large supermarket. The airport is reachable on foot in 10-15 minutes and there is also a car rental company quite close by, which can be very convenient. The hosts were beyond friendly and helpful, which was very much appreciated. Overall it was a really nice and pleasant stay and would definitely return.

Everything was fine, maybe the only small issue for us was quite hard bed but not a big problem as everything else was great.

The owners were amazing, there was a bottle of wine when we arrived, before we left we got delicious traditional sweets. As we were trapped on the island because of bad weather, they allowed us to have late checkout (though we had to stay another night finally). The room was nice with kitchenette, free parking. Not in the center of the town but easy to walk there, close to bakery and two supermarkets, also close to the airport. For travelling around the island would recommend to rent a car.

Although it isn’t far from city center (about 1 km), if you want to walk to main area you have to go on a road without sidewalk and this makes the journey a little difficult. But, this doesn’t matter if you use a car/other means of transportation.

The place was beautiful. We also enjoyed our room’s garden. Very friendly staff, ready to help you anytime. Also, the property offers free covered parking.

A little walk fm the port but found a short cut, 10 minutes walk at most. Nightmare to get a taxi after getting off ferry. Taxi drivers only seemed interested if you were going to the airport. One taxi driver let us share with another couple.

Very clean, grounds well set out. Very well designed. Nice big shower. Little kitchenette. Bottle of wine fm the owner. Family very pleasant. Everything you wanted or needed was there. On the day we left our ferry wasn't till the evening but owner let us leave our bags there and even brought them down to the port for us later in the day. Highly Recommend and wished we stayed longer.

This is not a dislike it’s the only thing I can think of, the lighting is beautiful but could do with being brighter to do make up.

Modern, stylish, new, spacious room, well fitted bathroom, the garden and outside areas were beautifully kept. There was someone on site if you needed anything. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Parking in the shade.Easily walk to Skiathos town.

The shower water temperature was inconsistent and changed from cold to hot without us adjusting it. We could have used salt and pepper on the kitchen.

Big comfy bed, 2 bathrooms, close to new port restaurants. Very clean and recently renovated. Nice courtyard and patio for each unit. Daily cleaning was included. Towels were changed every few days. We received a welcome bottle of wine and bottled water. Fully equipped kitchen. Sugar coffee and tea we're provided for the first day. AC worked well.

Nothing except we wish we could have stayed longer at Vabel :)

The owners are the nicest people and it made our stay at Vabel feel like home. I highly recommend Vabel as a place to stay if you are going to come to Skiathos, The facilities are exceptionally clean and nice as well as the property. You can see that the owners have put a lot of love and care into it.

The studio was lovely. The décor, the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, little kitchen... Whoever designed the rooms did a marvellous job! As an artist, I really appreciated all the artistic designs. The garden was super neat and cute with a bbq and lovely seating areas. We had a super king bed with lovely bedding, mattress and pillow protectors, not always the case in rentals. The shower was amazing and huge! The family were very friendly, helpful and they booked a taxi to the airport for us. It's a little out of town and not such a pretty area, but within 6 minutes you are at the harbour and the back way down between the houses is a nice walk. A supermarket in 6 minutes walk in the main, quite busy road, has everything you need for your stay. Staff at the supermarket were very friendly. The whole place is extremely clean, neat and carefully thought out.

Costas was very welcoming. Relaxing spacious and very comfortable. Nice comfortable bed. Shower was very good. BBQ area available if required. 15 walk into town for our age 69 group but taxi was only €7 to get home which suited us. There was two different ways to walk into town, one through the lanes the other on the road both were on the flat so no hills. Costas supplied everything you needed and even drove us to the airport to catch our flight. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Costa.

Hospitality is top notch! Everything is perfectly clean and the atmosphere is so relaxing! I would definitely recommend Vabel hospitality to whoever is looking for a family run, cozy, high standard accommodation in the island! The location is just perfect, close enough to Skiathos town to easily walk to the centre but located in a very quiet area!
