Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GreeceFor the price paid, we would expect someone to come and clean the room, not daily but at least every second day.
The room itself was great. Decent location if you to avoid crowds in the port. Everything was brand new and nicely decorated.

ItalyDimitrios is extremely nice and helpful!! The apartment is very near to Plaka, which is convenient if you have a vehicle to move around. The apartment is simple but comfortable.

New ZealandLocation appalling - not close for eating, or supermarket . Not everyone drives!!! And the taxi drivers couldn't find the location. Accommodation recommended a transfer from ferry - grossly overpriced for the distance. (I was taken 4x that distance in Amorgos for 1/3 of the price!) Shower nozzle came immediately off - clearly this was known about and no attempt to repair. Toilet seat loose and broken.Toilet jammed in beside the shower. Kitchen tap spurts all over the room. Front door sticks, and only opens with force. Internet unreliable. Room was only cleaned once in three days. I was told the water wasn't potable - in this case surely fresh water should be provided daily! (Given also lack of conveniece stores nearby). Neighbours woke me at 5.00am each morning as they noisily prepared for work I think this is blatant exploitation of the unsuspecting tourist's dollar. Very poor value - rip off in fact, and has made me question ever returning to Milos. I think Booking.com should seriously consider removing this listing. Exploitation such as this is nothing short of greed. I would very much like a refund.....

Argentinathere was a terrible humidity smell, the bed was undone, the location was very remote and the neighborhood was ugly, the kitchen stove was bad, there were almost no utensils, there were ants everywhere, no garbage bag. we had cleaning service only once while staying there. WAY too expensive for the place.
the host answered rapidly via the chat and helped us with the transfers.

Greeceit didn’t have a trash bin in the bedroom, the towels were dirty and there was not enough hand soap in the bathroom. Also the location is not ideal as it is pretty far from the main attractions.

GreeceBad wifi . Problems with electricity and water ( related to the property), The accomodation was supervised from an external company and they didn't care much about the clients . For example we had to wait for 40 minutes for someone to come to pickup some others tourists who didn't have car in order to go altogether to our properties ( we had a car so if they gave us the keys we could go to the accomodation alone without wasting our time ). No cleaning ,no chance of towels and toiletries in 5 days . The room doesn't not look like as in the booking photos - it is much smaller . Very expensive. Nice place to sleep over but definitely not value for money .
Good location ( if you have car or motorcycle).
