Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The host arranged for someone to meet us at the airport. This person drove us to the property, helped us carry our cases up the stairs and gave us the keys. He also returned at the end of our stay to take us to our next destination. Various snacks and drinks had been left which were all very enjoyable and unexpected.

United StatesIt would have been very easy to say the parking was 500 meters away and that you could not park close to the house. Extremely difficult to drive there with Google Maps

AustraliaInitially hard to locate, but worth it! Such a cute, homely feel with beautiful views. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, all within walking distance to the many restaurants and shops. We also had the option of two beaches, also within walking distance. Will definitely return for a longer stay next time!😘😘😘

United KingdomAccess was difficult with luggage / anyone with a disability. Also, only 3 Nespresso pods per day! 4 would be better so no need to fight over who gets third!
Beautiful setting, very thoughtfully and tastefully done up, spotlessly clean.

AustraliaThe directions if coming by taxi could leave you with a long walk with many steps. I’d suggest walking along the promenade towards the castle and navigating the 20 steps up to the front door vs dragging bags down 100 steps
Amazing location and beautifully renovated. So convenient and what a view. Loved this property. Would highly recommend

United KingdomThe parking offered is not on site and at the Bianco Hotel. Very easy to find but is a bit of a way with your luggage so be prepared especially if its hot!
A bit of confusion over the check in, luckily the lovely lady who cleaned it was still there and she gave us the keys. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, super clean, had all you need to prepare meals if you wanted to and only a few steps to the bars, supermarkets and restuarants. There is a balcony to sit on and a separate garden with loungers which is downstairs infront of the other apartment. The beach at Parga is small and gets very busy so we walked to the other side to Valtos Beach. The walk does include steps and a hill but has loungers and bars etc. Perfect for a lovely beach day. On the way back do have a cocktail at Mike's Bar.... great views!! Parga is a popular place but very pretty!

United KingdomThe only issue for us was the stairs to access the house and to get down onto the harbour front. On the booking sheet from booking.com under "Hotel Policies" it states and I quote " Guest Parking - Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed)" which led us to believe that the property was close to a road and we could access the property from a taxi with our bags and that access to the town / harbour would be easier as we both have disabilities. There is no road!! There is no parking!! which meant we were dropped off approx 500 mtrs away from the property which meant walking up and down hills and having to climb approx 25 steep steps to the house. In total from the property door down to the harbour level 53 steep steps needed to be negotiated both down and back up or take the longer steep slopes and steps through the old town. No where in the property description does it state "Unsuitable for disabled". If any of this information was available at the time of booking we would not have booked. The fact that guest parking on site in the description swayed us to book it, but beware, there is not a cat in hells chance of parking within 500 mtrs from the house and having to negotiate hills and steep steps to get there as the house is within the old town narrow streets with no road, only walkways. If the property manager had not helped us with our suitcases on two occassions, we could not have stayed here.
The host and the service cleaner were exceptional in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The location gave us a fantastic view across the harbour and quick access to the restaurants, town centre, the old town, the castle, the harbour and beaches, taxi rank and excusion centre. The house itself is excellent with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Despite being so close to the bars and restaurants, there was never any issue with noise and was a great place to relax. We loved it!

United StatesArrival was a bit frustrating. Parking is listed as "on site", but is not actually on site, which wouldn't be a problem, except that no special instructions were communicated ahead of time. From other guest comments, this seems to be an ongoing issue. The owner seems under the impression that we had the parking info from our Booking.com reservation. We re-checked all our emails and booking info, and could only find a link for directions to a poor map with unlabeled topography. When we were lost as to where to park, I called, and Dimitris explained where to go. It all worked out fine in the end, but a better first impression could be given with just a little bit of detailed communication. For future reference and less hassle: included free parking is at the lot next to Bianco Resort, then walk down to the waterfront, head right to the stairway next to Toros Restaurant under the castle (about 5 min walk). The gate is at the top of the stairs. You might need to call to let them know you've arrived, so they can meet you with the key. Well worth the walk!
House 1905 was one of our favorite properties during our month long trip in Greece. We had the upper unit, and the view was truly magical--we found it hard to tear ourselves away from that balcony! The location is in a quiet area at the end of the promenade, and we so appreciated the tranquility. The building was recently renovated and the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail is very apparent. The beds were very comfortable, and the layout of the flat was great for our family of three (beware that the upper bedroom has a fairly low ceiling). There was daily housekeeping service, and everything was quite well stocked. Dimitris, the owner, was helpful and gracious. We highly recommend House 1905 for a stay in beautiful Parga.

United StatesWhen we asked for instructions to get to the property a few days before arrival, we were told to call Dimitris about 30 minutes before arrival and he will meet us at Parga bus station and assist with the check in. However, when we called Dimitris, he told us to get to Toros restaurant and from there we can easily find the property and the housekeeper lady will be waiting for us with the key. Google map doesn't quite tell about the number of stairs to climb and it is a significant number of stairs with the luggage when we got to Toros. Later we found out that there is a street from the main town square to the property with a gentle slope which would have been much better.
The room is comfortable as advertised with all the amenities in excellent condition. The studio apartment is tastefully decorated and the balcony with chairs and umbrella with view of the sea is a plus. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and once we settled it , it was easy to walk to the beach, the bakery and the supermarket.

United StatesDimitrios thought of everything, we loved it all!
The apartment is freshly renovated with extra comfortable beds and lovely decor. Large bathroom with a clothes washing machine which was very nice! Well appointed little kitchen with everything thoughtfully provided to make coffee and tea and a little breakfast. An unbeatable view from the balcony of the port of Parga with it's little island. Great place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine - we did both! The Host, Dimitrios, met us when we arrived to give us keys and show us the place. Location is perfect, on the quiet end of town, just below the Venetian Fort, and a short, easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in town and beach. We loved our stay!

United KingdomIf you can’t do steps this property is probably not for you. Shower looked good but was a bit of a disappointment pressure wise. Not sure if the apartment would suit 4 adults given its size and the balcony bedroom was a little small. Parking in high season will probably be a nightmare, as other than curb side parking the town car park is quite a walk away. We went out of season and found out ourselves that we could park right under the apartment on the seafront with just a few steps to manage. Be careful you don’t lock yourself in 😂
The view on arrival was worth the hassle of finding the apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Light and airy, sunshine flooding the balcony with fantastic views across the bay. Easy walking to bars and restaurants.Apartment was cleaned daily.
